Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Dreams

So, let's talk dreams. I don't remember most of them, but I do remember one that I had the other night.

I was going to overnight camp, and we were having a swimming lesson. My fencing instructor was teaching the lesson (I don't like fencing, and intend to stop taking it as soon as my mom lets me), and he was telling us to not be at Splish-splash world or something. I think he meant to just swim the laps and not play around in the water. We start swimming laps again, and then a few moments later, out of nowhere appear a bunch of water toys everywhere and everyone is splashing and squirting and having a load of fun and my fencing instructor is nowhere to be seen.

Then I wake up, which is too bad, because it was actually fun. And I saw my fencing instructor in a bathing suit, which doesn't fit the image that he broadcasts at fencing because he's somewhat strict and we never get to talk (not that we have any time to, which is one of the reasons I don't like it).

So another person's dream I heard about once: they told me they were sleeping at overnight camp and they were having a dream about a clock, which they didn't really remember. Then they woke up, and thought they were still in the dream and got up to do something with a clock, then remembered "I'm at camp. I don't have a clock. Go back to bed."

Anybody else have an interesting dream to talk about?

My dreams that feature the Chatterbox are very vague.

@Red:

I know you're not her, for obvious reasons.  Gender including one of them.  Although maybe it was misinterpreted and my dream meant Ruby...

That would super weird.  And I highly doubt it.

I'm not doing Camp NaNo. So you're okay. If I ever do NaNo, I'm not sure what psudonym I'll use.

This morning's dreams were odd. My friend Supi was in them again.

The first one? Was oddest. It was the after school program. Only we were now in a grocery store. Which transformed into this mansion which was supoosedly Supi's house. (I know his house is big, but its not a mansion.) And we were playing hide-and-go-seek. Odd. I don't really remember any of the people there, except for my science teacher, his son, Cheapskate (another friend of mine), and Eriol (Supi's younger brother). I know there were more people, though.

The next dream didn't feel like a dream. I was sitting in my sixth period class, History, and my History teacher said to take notes on this one chapter. So I went to go help this one girl who is always distracted (did I mention I like this girl just about as much as I like chocolate? Which is to say, not at all.) and she did her work. For once. *cue trumpet fanfare* Twas a miracle. Anyway. So at the end of period, my history teacher got mad at us for leaving our seats and punished all of us who had left our seats. Note: I didn't want to go help the girl I mentioned earlier but I did. Because she asked me to. Anyway, I started crying because I do not like getting in trouble and because I had a bad day fairly recently (Thursday, I think) which was very bad and I've been a little depressed since then. And so I left. And cried for a little bit. Then I went home with Supi and his older sister (he doesn't have an older sister.) The end.

When I woke up this morning I had water all over my face. I hope I didn't wake up my parents. They get really worried about me whenever I cry.

I think the reason Supi was in both dreams was because Supi, Eriol, and I are working on a project and my mom was bugging me about the project right before bed. She was bugging me a lot, in fact.

I had a dream last night where I was Greg Heffley, and it kept switching between showing me (looking like me) where I was, being Greg Heffley, and shots of what the events of my dream looked like on the journal/diary pages that "Greg" drew. I don't remember what happened, but I think I wore a suit.

Another long dream, people. This was one of my "action" dreams, which are long and I find rather fun. I switched point of view a lot in the dream, but I'm going to only tell my own point of view, to avoid confusion.

So, I was hanging around after school, waiting for my car pool to arrive, when these people with weapons started running in and using their weapons on us. However, everyone has their own unique weapon, and mine was a really awesome ruler. (I have a strange fascinatuon with dangerous rulers. The one in the dream is based off my mom's sharp steel ruler, which I named Bakusai, or annihilation.) It was steel and sharp like the ruler ruler, but it was about two to three feet long on each side, and it was two rulers held together in the middle with a hilt, where you held it. So, you spun it around and cut things with it. I ran to the school's bikeracks, which are in a courtyard, and started attacking the invader guys. I was with some friends, one who had a giant pair of scissors (he has the smaller version of those scissors), and one with really long claws on his hands (the claws were actually pens. My pens, I believe, because I don't think he has ten pens.). Oh, and there was Gollum (male Gollum, not CB Gollum), who my dream self really, really likes to doublescross (I have no idea why) and he had this small cord around his neck and on it was a leaf pendant. Like the Elvish leaves in The Lord of The Rings. And anyone who wore it was protected from all harm. So, like any reasonable person, I decided to steal that necklace for myself. (See? He had better hope he never meets my dream self.) Well, we were defending this courtyard, and then one of my friends died. And the other did too. So I ran away before I got overwhelmed.

So, the next time I got back to my perspective, I was sitting in a creepy abandoned carnival with some girls I know who had lost their weapon-things and were having panic atacks. And my sister's childhood friend, Alex, was there. Alex told us that the weapon guys were only the first stage, now zombification was going on. Only, people weren't turned into complete zombies, only thier fingers were affected. There fingers were then called "Salad Fingers." (For those who don't know, Salad Fingers is a terrifying You Tube video I have not seen, but Lord Ploofy was describing it in Math the other day, so that's where that came from. Word of advice: Don't watch Salad Fingers.) And I switched point of views and got to see some people's fingers turning absolutely disgusting. Once I was back in my POV, Alex told us that people with Salad Fingers were possessed and mind controlled by the people that made this game. He told us that this was a game, and there was only one way for us to get out- find the key and then go to the place. I knew who the key was (from POV switching) and Alex told us the place where we needed to take the key. The girls started to go to the house at the edge of the weird carnival, but I knew that the key wouldn't be there. That house is Supi's dream house (as in not his real house, but the house that my dreams call his) but I knew that that house is really, really big and was a good place for Salad Fingers to hide in and that the boy with the key was not in there (I've been switching into his POV alot.). So, I asked Alex how he was going to get out. He had my sisters's old computer which now belongs to me, and explained that it had two uses in this game. First of all, he could play this math game that served as his weapon (I know, I know, doesn't make sense). Secondly, he had given the computer a strange program when he was a lot younger. Only he knew how to use the program. Once activated, it transported him back to his own world, or whatever. Unfortunatly, it only works for one person. So, I needed to go find the key.

I was in the guy with the key's POV for a little while. He knew that his little brother, who was about five, was the key (he knew things from my POV and I knew things from his. Still, we weren't really linked in any way.) and that he needed to get him to the place as fast as possible. So he put his brother in his backpack and ran into a cornfield. Back in my POV, I found that cornfield and ran through it (the game was nearing its end and almost everyone had Salad Fingers. They were searching for the last few surviviors.) and found the guy who had somehow managed to join up with- you guessed it!- Gollum. Apparently, his necklace wasn't much help agianst the Salad Fingers, so he had survived so long by running and hiding. The boy with the key asked something like, "Can we trust this new person?" and Gollum responded, "Heck no, they've been trying to kill me for years!" (which is an exxageration. I've only known him for teo years.) Well, I convinced them that I wasn't going to hurt them, I knew where the place was, and I had a ruler that could protect us. So we set off across this gloomy park to find the place, which was really close by. There were these big hills that had tunnels leading into them. I offered the idea that they were barrows, and got glared at. We were all scared enough as it was. And then I woke up, half way across the park. Darn it! I think i did make it out okay, considering that I was quite close and had a very sharp ruler (I'm always accidently cutting myself on it).

And on another note, I woke up covered in blood. I had bit both my tongue and my lip really hard so I had a lot of blood on my face and some on my shirt. That scared me quite a bit.
