Hello Chatterboxers. I

Hello Chatterboxers. I am Steve. I am Theo-Lexi's younger brother, and I am stuck in minecraft!

Greetings, greetings. I am L. Stuff happens to me and sometimes I talk about it on the Internet. My sister, Scarlett P., also resides here occasionally. But she seems to have disappeared already. Oh well.

My brother plays Minecraft. It slows down our Internet, but other than that it's pretty crash. I also use Young Justice euphenisms. Because telling people to get traught is amusing.

Hey Steve!  I like your name.  It reminds me of Hammy from Over the Hedge ("Let's call him Steve!).

I'm Melody.  I could give you a fifty post biography of my life, but I don't want to bore you, so I'll just narrow it down to this one post.  Basically, I'm the Disney-obsessed one.  Yep.  Disney.  That's where my location came from.  My obsession is specialized in the parks.  Even more specifically, Disney World.  My favorite is old Epcot rides.  Go Google Veggie Veggie Fruit Fruit and listen to it.  That is one of the most played songs on my iPod.

My favorite movie is The Little Mermaid.

I have a little sister named ~Blue Fairy~ who comes on here occasionally.  She mainly sticks to her own threads, so you may or may not meet her.

Welcome, Steve!

As Red has said, you add to our population of boys. Besides you and Red, if you don't count those who don't post often, only Quintus is a boy for sure.

I am a girl, as my sister on here (Butterfly) is. She beat me to this thread I see.

I hope that you enjoy Chatterbox and decide to stay.

I was under the impression that Quintus was a girl. Considering she said her name was Marina.

And Joe Dosie Doe does post on here a fair bit. And he's definitely a guy.

...Wut. I am definitely not male. I think I should know that. You were probably thinking of my brother, SilverWing.

I'm Quintus, the (female) Hetalia-obsessed one. Just don't ask. It's an anime and I really like it and stuff. Like Melody, I could give you a fifty-post biography of myself but I really don't think anybody would want to read that except me.

My claim to fame is my Canadian-ness and my partaking in the Lemming War. And I like Rush, too, but because "normal" 14-year-old girls don't like progressive rock bands that nobody's heard of, I have to memorize albums to show them I'm serious. Which is why I had a mini-meltdown when I couldn't remember that "Marathon" was on the album "Power Windows".

Words of advice for everyone: Hetalia fan girls are scary. If you ever meet one, just back away slowly and don't mention pasta.

How do I know? Three of my friends are completely obsessed with Hetalia and they've given evryone Hetalia nicknames. I'm Belarus, a.k.a. England in a dress and a wig. Not sure how that happened.

Now I'm afraid to ask.... what's Hetatlia?

Hetalia is a/an anime/manga about personified countries. There's a lot of characters. But the main three are the Axis Powers, Italy, Germany, and Japan. There are also the Allies: England, China, America, Russia, and France. Hetalia is hard to describe, but it's a show where the countries run around and interact with each other. They often act out facts or times in history. It's kind of like a reality TV show. With countries.

If you ever meet a Hetalia fan girl, hide in L's corner. *hides in the corner*

Also, if you happen to be interested, do not watch it with people in the house. I took a quiz (as in, what country are you most like?) and it told me I was Russia. *smiles creepily* Kolkolkolkolkolkolkol.

I sail PruHun! Yes yes yes yes!

Why is everybody so surprised to discover that I'm a girl? Is it my name or something? Maybe I should change it.

...Nah.

Quintus is a Latin name and in Latin "us" is a male ending. Female ending woud be "a" or "ia." But in English these days many names formerly used for males are now used for females. Anything goes!

@Admin; cool. I wanted to take Latin as a language, but apparently it isn't an elective because Latin is, apparently dead. Also, when you said Anything goes, it reminded me of the musical Anything goes.

I say Anything Goes a lot. Also, I could give you a whole lecture on why Latin Lives Today! It help with vocabulary, spelling, word derivatives, and the study of other languages, including English.

@Quintus: You're a GIRL? You're kidding right? Has anyone heard of the band Chameleon Circuit? They are AMAZING. I have heard people talk about Chameleon Circuit and they say its not about Doctor Who. They don't know Doctor Who then. I'm reading Beautiful Creatures and it is nothing like Twilight.

The guy I like said he just likes me as a friend even though in the note he said yes he likes me. And he's smarter than that; he knew I wasn't talking about liking me as a friend. My friends say I should stop thinking about him but I can't. They say he's not worth it if he won't admit it. I don't need a note to know he likes me as a friend, because he's tolerated me since fourth grade. Everyone always asked him did he like me because in fourth grade if you were friends with the opposite gender you liked that person. I'm serious, I can't stop thinking about him. And I'm doing Battle of the Books next year. He recommended that I do Battle of the Books. I don't know how to explain it but I KNOW he likes me. But he won't admit it because I think he feels like his friends would tease him and so would everyone else (because he and I are two of the nerdiest people in the trailers) and my friends were pressuring him and talking to him and I think I should have talked to him but I'm a chicken.

Sorry. I just really needed to rant.

For some reason my brain is telling me that Charlie M. is in Chameleon Circuit... I'm not sure.  For future reference, some days I get addicted to ellipses...  Just so you know... This is definitely one of those days...

@Maggie the Whovian:

In re the opposite gender friend=like thing (I feel like being vague, but you know what I mean.), same thing happened to me and continues to this day.  Whenever there's a lull in the conversation, this almost regularly ensues:

Non-descript friend: Do you like Einstein? or Are You and Einstein Dating?

Me: No.  We're friends.

*two weeks later*

Non-descript friend B: Do you like Einstein? or Are You and Einstein Dating?

ET CETERA, ET CETERA AND SO FORTH!

Now The King and I will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day...

GAH.

Beautiful Creatures is five times better than Twilight.  I can't stand Twilight, but I think Beautiful Creatures is awesome.:)  Just finished beautiful darkness.:)
