This thread is for ways to prepare fo the coming Zombie Apocalypse. Anti-Zombie kit: First aid kit, long sharp object (example: sword), flashlight (preferably solar-powered in case it runs out of batteries), dehydrated food, sleeping bags. feel free to add other stuff to the zombie kit and tips for hiding from or fighting the zombies

Oh good idea. Have you played plants vs zombies? I have thst game. So we should bring plants. Brain's so we can have bait to catch them. Bow n arrow for if they were far away. Um, I have many more ideas, but I'm going to give other people a chance. They will probably write on. If they don't write on then I will add them.

As of the present time, I believe the zombie apocalypse is a highly unlikely event. It didn't happen when the Mayans thought it would, I don't believe it's going to happen when my sister thinks so either.

Rodney says riot. Riot of zombies, perhaps. Trying to rescue the kidanapped King of ZombieWorld, maybe. But probably not.

The Mayans actually did'nt say zombie apocalypse.

Also a good thing to remember is it is probably most effective to cut their heads clean off, use the sword for this.

Sweet! I'm all about the Zombie Apocolypse. Though, I think World Domination will happen first. A gun, naturally. And I agree with Blue. An archery set would do well. Also, a tarp, rope, stale cherios (don't ask, but I've trained for the zombie apocolypse before) knives, and matches.

Btw, did you know that someone (forget who) is rewriting classics with zombies? I.e: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

Daffodil is working on Zomberry Island on Poptropica. She has difficulty jumping over the zombies.

Well, jump higher! I'm no good at Poptropica, though, and Zomberry Island was a letdown.

When preparing for a zombie apocolypse, one should hoard the following items:

1) Canned food. (It lasts longer.)

2) Large sticks, rocks, and lawn ornaments (Naturally, to chuck at the zombies)

3) A rubber duck (Why, no reason. Everyone needs a rubber duck!)

4) A long-lasting supply of comics, books, or authors (So you can do something while you're not fighting zombies. At the authors, if there are no books, get someone to write your books for you.)

5) A cement truck, as well as a plaster that will make a sturdy space safe from zombies (So, of course, you can make your hideout. You'll need one.)

As for fighting the zombies, hopefully you won't have to, since your hideout would, at best, have no entrance or exit, hence protecting you from the zombies and keeping you from fighting them. That's what you'll need the books and canned food for, as well as the rubber duck. These are things of survivial and or entertainment. At last resort, you can chuck the large sticks, rocks, and lawn ornaments at the zombies if they do manage to break in. Also, you can chuck bits of cement from your hideout that the zombies broke, unless, of course, you can't pick up a reasonable size chunk of pavement, a thing many people fail to do.

Agreed, Theo. And you do always need a rubber duck. Especially the ones decked out with a machine gun! Love those.

And I think you should take a pick ax, shovels, and other digging tools. It would do well to have escape exits through tunnels. And even a safe house, or bunker, underground. And solar panels to add on to the hideout, so we could power things. Like spy cameras, computers, and a microwave! Canned things taste better if they're heated up.

My thoughts on weapons for the zombie apocalypse:

If we're going with the theory that it takes a head shot over severed brain stem to kill a zombie, then a variety of weapons are available. I would go with a sword, but they would be rather difficult to find. I know we don't have any swords lying around in our house. Bows and crossbows would be good weapons (if you knew how to use them), but those are hard to find as well. Guns are mostly useless once you run out of ammunition unless you have a bayonet on the end. A problem with close range weapons is that the zombie has to be close to you if you're going to use it.

Still, my weapon of choice would be a decent sized hammer. They're fairly common and if I lost one, it would be easy to get another one. It doesn't take much practice or skill to use. They also have other practical uses, like smashing in grocery store doors. On the other hand, I might have to bash in a zombie's multiple times before it died, and that could be the death of me.

In conclusion, my primary weapons would be hammers, but I would carry several others, probably a gun and a knife.

If you really think the zombie apocalypse is coming, you need armies of Cannibal Zombies that eat the brains of the non-cannibal zombies so you have to fight them less.

Well, I have to say, a hatchet would be good to have as well. They aren't the most common thing, but not exactly hard to find either. Good for thowing (as well as knives), and using for bashing in stores once the majority of the human population is gone, and we must do as we must to survive, type thing.
