Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Official Registration for

Official Registration for Newly Minted TCCP (The Chatterbox Currency Project).

Based off of: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/chirpatcricket/node/67196

Now that Stickfiddler has created a mall (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/114557) and Watermelon a thread hospital (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/118718), it is implied that CBers will need to be spending virtual money. And to earn virtual money, they will need a job. And then there will be a whole network of businesses and workers and whatnot.

So, I would like to know just who is participating in these projects by filling out the following form. All starting participants will receive $150,000. Fill it out and submit it to this thread so Stickfiddler and I know who is a participant.

Also optional: instead of working somewhere, open your own business! Post a thread and sell things from it. It will cost money to create a "building" and to buy starting inventory, deducting from your starting money. But it shall be worth it in the end.

Coming soon: A bank, inventory (for purchased items) and other things to make keeping track of money and whatnot easier.

Official Form of Officialness:

Name:

Are you currently employed at the Mall or Thread Hospital or any other store? Please tell us your position and what you do:

Section for those starting their own businesses:

Short description of business:

Building size ($1,000 dollars for small store, $5,000 for medium store, $10,000 dollars for large store, $50,000 dollars for warehouse):

Are you currently hiring?:

Because I'm participating, I will fill out my form later. Hope you all join!

I'd like to apply for some Chatterbox Currency.

Name: Teresa

Do you currently work at Mall or Thread Hospital?  No, I do not. I am starting my own business.

Name of Business: Cricket Cafe

Description: Cricket Cafe is a restaurant cafe that serves delicious homemade drinks, appetizers, entrees and, of course, dessert.

Building Size: I'll go with medium, that way Cricket Cafe is neither too small nor large.

Inventory Cost: Between $0.50 and $7.00. Of course this is cost per item and does not represent the total figure.

Hiring: Currently, no, but I'm about to as soon as I start the thread. So stay tuned!

Are you currently employed at the Mall or Thread Hospital or any other store? Please tell us your position and what you do: I am a cashier at the Joe Dosie Doe Food Court. (Although now it should be the Joe the Stickfiddler Food Court.)

Section for those starting their own businesses:

Name of business: Assorted Antiquities

Short description of business: We buy, sell, and trade random items! If you have an old item that you've purchased from another store, I will give you a reasonable amount of money for it. If you need a certain item, I will look up its price on "one of them mainstream websites" (Amazon) and charge half as much (or even less than half!) for it. (We have almost everything at Assorted Antiquities!) And, if you would like to trade an item you bought at another store, I will pick something reasonable and make a trade.

Building size ($1,000 dollars for small store, $5,000 for medium
store, $10,000 dollars for large store, $50,000 dollars for warehouse): $10,000

How much your inventory will cost (be reasonable!): $5,000

Are you currently hiring?: Not yet, but soon, after I get salaries and whatnot worked out!

As of right now I have $135,000 left over.

Ruby has my permission to be in charge of the bank, so you can begin cashing in your funds!

I'd like to apply for making the Chatterbox bank.

Official Form of Officialness (It's Official!TM):

Name: Ruby M.

Currently employed: No. Does this make me sound untrustworthy?

Name of business: Bank of the Chatterbox

Short description of business: I will keep track of how much money you all have on a file on my computer. Whenever you make a transaction somewhere, I will note how much and where and the money will be transferred to the person or business in question. (Wait a minute, WritingWarrior, are we going to have taxes? Who would pay taxes to, anyway? The Admins?) If you ever want to know how much you have, you can just ask me and I'll tell you. Businesses, please tell me when you purchase new materials or pay employees so I can note it.

Building size: Small, I suppose. I don't really need anything really big.

Inventory costs: None, I already have what I need on my computer.

Hiring: No, I should be able to manage this by myself. Should. If I need more help, I'll put up a notice then.

We Admins won't tax you. If you do want to figure taxes, I suggest you donate them to a worthy cause.

Admin
