Hi chatterboxers, I'm

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hi chatterboxers, I'm

Hi chatterboxers, I'm Corina (Should I make up a nickname? Everyone else seems to have one.) and I'm new here. Or relativly new, I've posted a bunch of times, but I discovered Chatterboxing is really fun and I might be on a lot, so I might as well introduce myself.

I like reading and writing and annoying my six older siblings to death (sounds fun doesn't it?). I am very weird and pround of it.

I am obsessed with Avatar: the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra. And Percy Jackcson and The Olympians. Oh and the word "hyperventalating". I currently have the song the dwarves sing in The Hobbit movie stuck in my head, along with "When I'm gone" from Pich-Perfect.

I wish I knew how to fly, but I don't, so I guess I will have to (sadly) confine myself to the ground.

If you have any favorite books I might like, could you please post them, as I am always looking for new books to read. I have read 151 books and exactly 46,505 pages this year (and counting).

My fingers like to write "have" "ahve" (okay. . . that was random).

I ahve (see there, it did it!) lived at a hotel for eight and a half months (not fun! [well except for the sugary muffins they served each morning]) as Hurricane Sandy refugee, in a room with my four older sisters. Very crowded, might I add.

But now I'm home! With fast internet again (yay!)! But not with an AC, so it is very, very, very hot and making it impossible for me to think straight, so if I sound like an idoit (like my siblings are always callng me), please forgive me.

Oh, and I'm writing a book, but I'm not sure I'll finish it. . . anyway, it's called The Virons. And it's very good so far, or at least acording to one of my main characters. Is having our characters talk to you a sign of insanity? I think it is. . . oh well.

Okay, so that's me! I have to got walk a huge German sheperd for my neighbor, so talk to you all later!

My whole family is insane, so you're not alone. XD We laugh at totally random things, talk to inanimate objects, and make poop jokes all day. Oh, and call each other idiots and butt-heads and other insults, so much they've stopped having any meaning. And generaly bite, tackle and roll around and tease each other every day. Insane, much?

Yay, we should make a thread about Avatar!! I can make my sister get on Chatterbox (she's a crazy Sokka fangirl) and we can quote Sokka together. All my siblings have watched it (even my twenty-five year old brother) and we quote it like every day. And we have a club. Have you watched the new season of Korra? Okay, I could go on all day about that show, so I'll just stop now. We should seriously start a thread. If you want to.

And Anne of Green Gables? You should come over to my house! I have two copies of the whole series and a doll of Anne. I also have about a million things about it. And I read it all twice. We should start a thread about that too.:D

For some reason I feel very bubbly.

Thanks for all the book recommendations. I'm going to the library tomorrow, so I'll probably get around twenty-five books (instead of eighteen), and surprise my mom when I read them all by next week. :D

So is mine! We joke around a lot too.

We should! It would be fun! I'm a huge Sokka fan too, though Toph will always be my personal favorite! But we're CONSTANTLY quoting Sokka! I didn't know that Kora had started again, though my dad says he has set the DVR. Yeah! Go dad!

OH MY GOSH I HAVE THE WHOLE ANNE SERIES PLUS AN ANNE DOLL TOO! I've read Anne of Green Gables over twenty times, having grown up on it, watch the movies staring Meagen Follows at least once a week, and got my Anne doll on Prince Edward Island when I went to visit!!!

Ditto that! I've got like a bazillion books that I always finish in record time! I found this hilarious edit once that goes like this:

Kid: "I'm going to finish that book today."

Mom: "It's six hundred pages, and you just bought it!"

Picture of guy in front of fire: "You underestimate my powers."

I love that so much! It's so funny, and it's so me!

Honestly Corina, are you sure we're not sisters separted at birth? It feels like it. ;)

Hmm. . . that would mean I have five sisters. Awesomeness. It seems like we'd get along, I want to meet you now!

Oooh, my mom and I have a binder full of the places we'd like to go sometime. Prince Edward's Island is like the top one!!! Was it cool??? I want to go sooo bad!!!!

I love Toph too! I don't know which is my all-time favorite character, though. All the people on Team Avatar are awesome. But if I had to pick, probably Ty Lee or Katara. Or Mai. Or Sokka. Or Aang. Or Toph. Or Zuko. Or ANY of them.

And I actually read a six-hundred-page book in about five hours! It was Keys to The Demon Prison though, and I had to find out what happened to Kendra, Seth and Co. (if you haven't read Fablehaven yet, you really should!). And I read all the Percy Jackson books in a day. Less then a day. Yeah, that quote is so relevent for me!!

Talk to ya soon, long-lost sister.

I'm sorry I just now got around to answering this, I've been busy with high school. You don't need to have a nickname, not everyone does. My friend Red doesn't (I bet half of you are going to say, "That's his real name? Seriously?") use one and he's on here too. I'll drag him sometime later today, most likely.

I love reading and editing and annoying my one older sibling, but sadly, as she is away at college, I don't get to see her very often.

A girl named Quintus who used to be on here was very fond of Legend of Korra but she has been gone for a bit of time. Perhaps I'll get Red to summon her. You and about three thousand other people will murder me for saying this, but here it is: I hate all of the Percy Jackson books. Make of that what you will. The word hyperventilating is much more fun than actually hyperventilating. I currently have a song called Project "Ma" stuck in my head. I'm sure you don't know what it is.

The Underneath is fabulous. The Westing Game and Coraline are also exceedingly good books. Sadly, I've only read 71 books this school year, due to high school being so annoyingly homework-filled. I will catch up!

I know exactly what you mean. I have a character named Siq and I type Siw so often it's not even funny.

I'm sorry to hear you've been living as a refugee but I'm really glad you got your home back! I'm so sorry about the lack of air conditioning. Try opening the windows at night and keeping them closed and covered with curtains by day.

Good luck on your book. As far as I can tell, just about every writer has their characters talk to them, poke them, annoy them and whine to them. You must tell me the secret for getting your characters to say what you're writing is good stuff.  All mine seem to do are tell me that what I'm writing would serve better as cat litter and beg me to give them special powerups and pull out a deus ex machina to solve whatever situation they're in, until I get annoyed and kick them all out of the house. Insanity is having other people do that (I'm kidding.)

This was exceedingly long, but I answered everything you said above, so I suppose you'll have to read this and infer what you will about me.

You. . .  DON'T like PERCY JACKSON???!!! But, I can't hold it against you. Some people like somethings and others like others. Still, how can you not like Percy Jackson? . . . I don't understand.

Thanks for the advice about the heat, but since nine people live in the two rooms we inhabit right now, closing the windows would make us all die, due to the amount of body heat. Thank goodness it's gong to be winter soon. But thanks anyway!

I wish my siblings were away at college! Instead, they go to college, but don't go away!! They still bother me in the evenings! And on days they don't go! (One of them is singing about a peepee man. Weird. But can't say I haven't done it myself. XD)

Most of my characters (that's pointed at you, Alana! Alana: Hey! I don't bug you. Soren: She means most of the time. Alana tackles Soren.) do bug me (No we don't!. . . shut up. They are very annoying.). Just Farren happens to be very nice and doesn't say my writing is bad. Which it is. (no it doesn't. Farren, you're way too nice). Thank goodness Dalian is mute, else he would probably be making sarcatisic comments all the time (Don't even try hand motioning complaints at me, Dalian!) Like Alana does (I do not! Yes you do, I wrote you that way!). And Tia does. She away on a mission, else she would be doing the same thing Alana is.

Anyway, nice to meet you, Ruby!

The reason why I don't like Percy Jackson is because I don't feel like it's very respectful. The gods and godesses in the stories were worshipped once and I think that's it's rude to write stories about beings that were worshipped. I know they mostly are not worshipped now but I still feel it's more respectful to let them rest in peace then to write silly nonsense about them. Then again, this is pretty rich of me considering that I'm an enormous fan of the song series Evillious Chronicles which is based loosely off Biblical stories. Well. You get less weird stares if you wander down the street singing Project Ma than singing Percy Jackson on the street (although most people can't understand what you're saying, so that may account for it).

My characters threaten me. The average day plays somewhat out like this:

Luca: (He's a guy who is best known for flirting with every female under the sun, running away from his demon fiancee, and spontaneously combusting.) Write about me!

Me: No. I'm doing math homework.

Luca: But I'm so amazing you just have to write about me!

Me: 5x+7y=-1

-2y+3z=9

7x-z=27

x=4

Luca: I'll light on fire!

Me: You do that.

Luca: And take your Gilgamesh essay with me!

Me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Person in the next county: Huh, I thought I heard a scream just then...

Luca: Mwa ha ha! Now you will write about me!

Me: Sadly... I shall have to take action...

Luca: And write!

Me: ... And call Amarelle. (Amarelle is said demon fiancee. Technically, she's neither a demon nor his fiancee, but close enough.)

Luca: What?

Me: (on phone) Amarelle? Yeah? He's bugging me again.

Luca: No! Curse you!

Amarelle arrives and drags him away.

Luca: I'll be back...

@ Corina: That's me and my mom too! She was constantly reading blogs and stuff about people who moved to PEI! And it was AMAZING! It's SO beautiful there! Rolling green pastures, little cottages, seaside houses, the red beaches are so pretty, and of course, the Anne of Green Gables theme! I got to go to LMMontgomery's house, or where it stood, and they had a sign that showed where her bedroom was! So I got to look out on the view she did possibly when writing Anne of Green Gables!!! I then toured the real life Green Gables, the grounds, and stables! I also (this will sound kind of morbid to the undedicated), got to visit her grave, and pay my respects to one of the all time greatest authors ever in existance. The was a dear and reverant moment for me. We then went to Avonlea Village. It's a reenactment of Avonlea, with actors for Anne, Diana, Gilbert, Josie, Moody (who was HILARIOUS!), Racheal Lynde, Marilla, Matthew, and Mr. Philips. They did skits, like Anne breaking the slate over Gilbert's head, Diana getting drunk, Anne coming to Green Gables and begging Racheal Lynde's forgiveness, and at the end, there was a school talent show, where Gilbert sang to Anne! It was SO sweet! Toward the beginning of the day, they had a square dance type thing, where the actors came into the audience for partners. AND GILBERT BLYTHE ASKED ME TO DANCE!!!!!! As Anne would say; "That was an epoch in my life I shall date from for years to come!" It was so exciting!

After Avonlea villiage, we visited the world famous Cows! It's an ice cream place and it is ABSOLUTE HEAVEN ON EARTH! We went, sometimes twice a day, every day we were there! I also got to taste Rasberry Cordial, which is really good, and tastes sort of like a Shirley Temple. The beach was fun to swim in, but really cold! We went rowing on a river, and I felt just like Anne and Diana would have! If you ever get the chance, go, DEFINITELY!

I can't easily decide between the Avatar characters either! They're all so equally awesome! I guess Toph wins out cause she and I are a lot alike. She's sort of the "seventh wheel", and not really into being girly or romance. She's strong, yet occasionally shows her weaker side. Plus, the fact that she invented metal bending is pretty freaking awesome!

I haven't read Fablehaven but I really want too! But I've read long books like that in a day or so too. I read Deathly Hallows in about two days, and only that long because I had school in between. But yeah, awesome quote! One to live by!

And I'm now convinced we're long lost sisters. Absolutely!

Oh my gosh, I want to go sooooooo bad!! I told my mom what you said and now she really wants to go too!! Was dancing with Gilbert nice? And I want to try Raspberry Cordial!

And yes, you should definitely read Fablehaven. I read it in a bookclub with my family and my best friend and her family and some of their friends this summer and it was awesome!! Although my best friend didn't finish the series (thought it was boring around the end of the third book {crazy! I never thought it was boring even for a minute!!} so I guess nine-old-years don't like it as much as eleven-year-olds). So, yeah, you should read it.

If you ever need book recommendations, I have a million ;D.

Oh and by the way, do you use Goodreads? It's a site were you can keep track of your books. I use it, along with my sisters. Very helpful.

And I know, I want to metal bend (well I want to bend anything!!)! Toph is AWESOME!

Hey, Blonde Heroines Rule, if I made a Avatar thread, what catagory would it go in? Or should we make it a RP? Hmm. . .

Also Corina, there's currently a World Domination War going on between the armies of Red  vs. Theo and I (our army still hasn't come up with a name), in DtE. Your welcome to check it out, and pick a side if you wish. No pressure, it's all for fun!

Oh, and I have another question. Can you do Camp NaNo before you're thirteen? I wanted to join it, but it said you have to be thirteen to do it. Is there anyway you can say you have your parent's permisson and join when you're not thirteen? Because if it doesn't I guess I'll have to wait two years :(

If you have your parent's permission, then just say that you're 13.
