Chatterboxer Interviews

I was looking back at some of the old posts, and I came across a post by Gollum for Chatterboxer Interviews. I really liked the idea, so I hope you don't mind, Gollum, if I create my own Chatterboxer Interviews thread!

Here's how it's going to work: Every week I will select a different Chatterboxer to interview. Each Chatterboxer will have their own set of questions. No two sets of questions will be alike! If you want to be interviewed, please leave a request below. I will begin interviewing once requests start showing up.

Hope to interview you soon! I can't wait to start interviewing. :)

1. My favorite authors are Kate Dicamillo and J.R.R. Tolkien. See my Favorite Authors post on BAB.

2. I love big cats, like snow leopards. They're so cute, even though very dangerous!

3. Blab about Books and Down to Earth. I like Puddings Place, but it dies so very often, so no one really posts there anymore.

4. That I can be insecure. I come across very confident, but I have my moments of gloom every now and again.

5. When I found out I was published in Stone Soup Magazine. I knew then that my dream of becoming a real writer would happen!

Thank you Nina!

Okay, here goes:

1. For a skill/ability I'd like to have, I'd say I wish I had a way so that I never got writer's block. I adore writing, yet writers block seems to trail me like a fox hound. I get it soo often.

So, yeah, I'd wish I had anti-writer's block.

2.My fav movie? I'd say either Shop around the Corner or You've Got Mail. I love how Y.G.M. is based off of S.A.T.C. and how you can see the similarities!!

3. The best gift I've ever received is a gorgeous pen my brother gave me for Christmas. Its metal, and its writes with ink that drys before your eyes! It's mesmerizing.

4. The best words to describe me are thoughtful, dreamy and factual. Okay, I know factual and dreamy are opposite-ish, but hey, opposites attract:) Plus, I can be very contradictorial in my opinions.

And lastly, (5.) In twenty years, I imagine myself married, living in a rural, yet populated area, working on sesquipedalious stories for children!

Thanks so much, Nina!!! I really enjoyed this experience!!!!!!

Thank you so much, Nina!

1. I live in Ruby's head most of the time. That kind of counts for uniqueness, doesn't it? In actuality, I'm normally really, really lazy and sloppy but I keep my room impeccably neat. That's pretty unique, especially because my parents don't force me to clean it. I just like it super neat.

2. I'm pretty cat-like, but I might choose to be one of those big, enormous, slobbery dogs just to bug the heck out of Ruby. Haha, that's pretty much my answer to everything: whatever bugs Ruby the most. Actually, it's really hot in California, so a dog or cat wouldn't be good. I like chameleons, maybe I'd be one of those. Or I could be a naked mole rat! I think naked mole rat is the winner.

3. I'm scared of lots of stuff, but one of the funnier ones is a girl named Evilina. She's one of Jem Louise Margaret's alternate personalities and she's, well, evil. She seems to like me. As in, like like me. She's incredibly creepy. Imagine a girl saying, in a very creepy voice and smile, "Hello, Red. How are you today? Has anybody displeased you lately?" And that is Evilina.

4. Assuming they could see/hear me? I dunno. I don't really know of any historical people I'm all that psyched to meet. It would be cool to meet Ellen Raskin. I'd talk to her about The Westing Game and invite her to lunch. I'd tell her, "I'm having lunch with a dead person," and I think she'd find that funny.

5. My biggest dream is to become a human, but I know that's impossible. I'd also like for us to succeed in our purpose, and if that fails too, I'd like Ruby to be happy.
