Hey I think

Hey I think I'm back for the summer too.  Sorry, sophomore year kicked my butt.  Nothing's really changed.  My drama club went to state finals.  I went to Philadelphia and Hershey with my school band.  Oh, and I've had a boyfriend for seven months now.  But other than that, it's been the same.

 

For those of you who don't know me, hi.  I'm Melody.  I'm obsessed with Disney.  I also like reading, writing, acting, helping backstage, and playing clarinet.  My little sister posts as ~Blue Fairy~.  I love Sherlock.

He's really sweet.  He sings and plays a ton of instruments, including the guitar, drums, piano, mandolin, and bass guitar.

I really really wish I could sing. I've written a couple of pieces for my girlfriend but instrumental music just isn't the same and it bugs me a lot. I've learned to play several Owl City songs on the piano but I can't sing the words, which is endlessly frustrating. And for guitar? Singing and guitar are practically entwined, at least if you're looking at the stuff I'm looking at, which is mostly Owl City, Sky Sailing, and older rock-ish stuff from my lesson teacher. For Mother's Day I covered Summertime's End's "Mother's Day" and played the vocal line on my saxophone, which turned out okay actually (and Mom cried, which is usually a good sign). But singing ability, or lack of it, is probably one of the things about me that annoys me the most.

And welcome back to the CB! I knew someone was missing and I'm glad you've returned to us.
