Call it luck,

Call it luck, call it coincidence, call it supreme awesomeness, but, like it or not, yesterday's Instant Chat was a HIT! Over 120 replies in one hour. I hadn't seen one that busy since when they were relaunched in June of 2013.

This thread will be for planning our next one.

I think it should be sometime in late July/early August. Maybe there should be one in both July and August?

By that I mean one in July, and another one in August, not one that spans over both July and August. For that, we'd need it to either last days/weeks/a month, or have one on the last day of July from 11:30 pm to 1:30 am on the first day of August, and that would be impossible.

So, Admins... what say you? 

Maybe, sometime the week of July 21. I can't say about August yet.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm gone that week too . . .

 

Maybe week of July 14 instead? Would one of you please try to tally replies and see which week works better for the most people? But I won't be able to say exactly when during that week until the time gets a lot closer.

You know what, I think maybe August would probably work best for me. But I don't know, maybe sometime in July, in the evening... But not Wednesdays. I have a (quite unhelpful) support group on those days.

Admin, there are not really many posts to tally, only 2 people other than me have commented. I will do that when more people have voiced their thoughts.

 

OK, bring it up again in a few weeks.

As long as it's not anytime between June 30th - July 3rd, that's fine with me. I have astronomy camp.

I think I am fine any day except on Wednesdays, because I have gymnastics on those days. I will go into exact details later, when I know around when the IC is.

But wasn't the discussion just about the weather? I read the comments, and they didn't seem all that interesting, even if a lot of people did show up.

Basicly any day is fine for me. Just it can't be between 12:00 and 3:00, because that's when I'm not allowed on screens. Also, if it's on a Tuesday or Thursday, I can't be on until 4:30. Also not on Aug 3rd or Aug 8th. I think that's all.

 

Unfortunately, August is really busy for us and I don't think we'll be able to announce an instant chat in advance.
