Hey, hey, stop panicing, I'm not leaving because of it (although I probably won't be on as much this month because of it.)
Who's doing it? What's your goal? What's your username? Can we be writing buddies?

My username is BlueJay_445 on the regular site, and BlueJay_555 on YWP. Make sure you enter the correct name for the correct site if you want to be writing buddies.

As for Cho...
There are two things I can tell you.
1. To find a user and add them to your buddy list, you have to search them. That would be on the top line of links (if you're on YWP, which I'm supposing you are. Ignore me if you aren't), on the end.
Once there, type in the username you want to find in the bar under "username." (Aha, yes, you are on YWP!) Next to the bar with the stats of your writing count, you'll find three options in green: "Add as a buddy," "Send NaNo Mail," and "View Forum Posts." Click on "Add as a buddy." It'll say "Add user (username) to your buddy list?" Click "Add." You should recieve a notification saying "Your request to add (username) to your buddy list has been submitted. (Username) has been notified." And that's it! You just have to wait for them to accept it.
I was requesting you to be my buddy while this went on, so now you can approve me.
2. You may already have some pending requests. This is how you accept them:
Under "My NaNoWriMo" on the bar on the left side, you should find an option saying "Writing Buddies." Click on that. It should lead you to your Buddylist.
There should be two tabs on the top: "Buddylist" and "Pending Requests." Click on "Pending Requests." There will be two columns there, "Recieved Requests" and "Sent Requests." "Recieved Requests" shows people who are waiting for you to agree to be a buddy with them. Because I don't have any recieved requests at the moment, I can't tell you what to hit, but anything positive should be clicked. It'll give you a confirmation message, I think, and click "add", or whatever the option is. Then they will be your buddy.
"Sent Requests" are requests you're waiting for others to approve. For example, you are now under my "sent requests" because you haven't approved my request yet.

I'm St.Owl on YWP. My goal is 30,000, and I may be adjusting it if needed. We're already writing buddies, so I don't have to answer that question. :D

Hey guys! It's Poetic Panda, and I'm on NaNoWriMo YWP! I think I've requested a few of you to be my NaNoBuddies. But anyway, contrary to popular belief, my username is actually not Poetic Panda. It's LauraBorealis.
My story is about a girl named Chelsea Windswift, who is your average teenage spy until she receives a special request from the Organization to go overseas on a special mission. The only problem is, her parents want her to finish high school first. Well, that, and her best friend gets kidnapped.
On a happier thought, I hope to see you all on NaNo!

I'm doing it! My user nname is The queen 7. I have asked everyone to be buddies; fyi I am not a stalker stalking you, I am a friend stalking you ;) my goal is 30,000 words but I might change it seeing as I am sort of behind. What would you guys recommend I do?

I've got no idea what NaNoWriMo is, but I just searched it... Is it a National Novel Writing Month? Is it? If I join, I'll tell you guys when and what my username is. You don't need to buddy me and I don't expect you to, but it would be nice if you did. :D
