  So. It's my first year using NaNo. Will any of you guys be my friends? My username is Granger Girl.

Hi! Please buddy me, username's twinkleberry336. It's my first year, too. My goal started out as 20,000, but I changed it to 30,000 today after taking the word-count calculator. They said my goal should be 139,000, but that might be because I said that I work for 5 hours a day by accident ;P. I have 8,115 words, how many do you have? What's your story about? Also, I started a week late so I've been rushing to catch up. I could be at 15,000 right now. Oh well!

My goal is 50,000 words. I'm behind by two or three days and have 17 k or so... *checks* 17074 words exactly. Hopefully it will be growing though. My story is weird and hard to explain so I'm just dumping my summarry right here: 

 

Let me tell you a tale, young lasses and lads, of seven princesses in a castle with a king and no queen, a king as spoilt as milk left in the sun for five days. The first princess was a kind lass who wanted to make her kingdom rich and cared for the peasents like us, but the cruel king told her nay, for he thought a lass like her, could naught do the job of a man and run the kingdom. But he himself, was not a man at all, he could not run the kingdom in the least, for her wanted a wife to do the job for him. The sisters seven, they did not like him, not all, one lass especially of the seven, she ran away. Into the forest, which she thought a fine adventure. Oh but lads and lasses how wrong was she! What a fine young lady, but she made a mess of it all, and almost destroyed her kingdom and all of it's residents.

It is my first year doing NaNo, my word cout goal is 60k and l'm currenlt at 23k.
