I GOT MY

I GOT MY

I GOT MY BRACES OFF!!!!

Yahoo! I am so happy right now! I can eat caramel and popcorn and gum again! The only problem is that the retainer is SO uncomfortable. And it's really hard to talk with it in. I sound like this: "Hewwo, thith retainer ith making ith hard to tawk."
Does anyone else have/used to have braces?

All my adult teeth have grown in, so I probably will never get braces. *evil grin*

And good for you! Braces are painful.

I have braces right now. I got them in June 2015. I could have waited two years to get them, but I wanted to get them over with.

My sister's had all the orthodontia business, but I haven't! But, oh, lucky me, I get to have braces in like half a year (I'm not sure, just justifying why I said "like").

Hallia says gngr. Gengar? How many Pokemon-related CAPTCHAs have you even recited?

I don't know.

Okay.

I don't care, either. I don't like the CAPTCHAs, but you need one so I am happy to be it. Only for you, Scylla. Only for you.

I had braces until just recently! In fact, I'm writing this with my retainer in. I quite concur about the uncomfortability and lisp-inducing-ness. It's also very cruel of whoever invented the word "lisp" to call it that because people who have one can't say it!

It does feel SO good to get them off. Virtual high five for making it! Eat loads of laffy taffy!

Thanks! *high fives Sydeny back* After, all I wanted was popcorn!! You don't know temptation until your brother is eating a high-piled bag of move theater style buttered popcorn and you can't eat ANY.

I don't have braces, but I'll have to get them soon. Bleah. All of my friends keep warning me about them.

@Abigail: No more braces!!! YAAAAHH! That's awesome. I still have mine, but I'm getting them off soon. yay.

@Cho: My freinds were warning me about them as well. Take it from someone that has braces. There is nothing to it.  It's annoying at times, your jaw aches for a while. But it's not a 'miserable scar you for life' experience. I actually kinda enjoy having braces. I sometimes choose Harry Potter house colors for them :)

I got my braces off a couple of months ago. Don't tell anyone, but I actually ignored the rules and chewed gum and ate popcorn. Shhhhh......

I didn't chew gum, because I once tried to do it and IT HURT SO MUCH. But I eat popcorn, but not a lot because I hate it when it gets stuck between my braces... I sometimes eat caramel, but only in small amounts. i also have to slice my apples cause it hurts alot to eat them whole. Ugh. People maayyyy say it's not that bad--And I seriously hope I'm not being too rude to complain-- But I do exactly enjoy having braces.

Awww man, you're so lucky. I still have braces on, and every 4 or 6 weeks they tighten it so that I can eat anything for like two days because they hurt SO. MUCH.

I had a retainer first, which is weird because most people get them last. I wish I got my braces first so I can get them over with ;-;. Well, I'm gonna get them off in a year or so.... And after they tighten it, it isn't so bad... BUT STILL.
