Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

One year ago today, an eleven-year old verison of myself, decided to post on this website that she had heard about through a magazine that she got. She came up with a silghtly dark, but poetic username, poked about until she found the Hitchhiker's Guide to Chatterbox and posted an inquiry about roleplaying there. 

One NaNoWriMo and half Camp NaNo, a few novels and one year later, l sit here, typing this up. Things have changed. l lost my obsession with fantasy novels, and quit reading so much. l became obesessed with comic books and movies and movie soundtracks. And writing. l became obesessed with that. l grew up--but only a bit.

Thinking back to how this community of people has changed, there were a few CBers who have gone--Winter Firefly, Alias S., Teresa, SoS, but also all those many who have come. We've gone through a lot together.

Thank you, everyone, for putting up with my strangness for this whole year. It has been an amazing time, and l look forward to the future times. l love it here. l don't fit in, but l don't have to. l love being strange. You people are amazing. Don't you dare ever forget that.

But, as all things in life, this calls for a party. In celebration of now and of future years. 

Party, till the break of dawn, my friends, and then some. For now, for the future.
