Fact of the every-other week options!:

The most common name in world is Muhammad.

Most toilets flush in E flat.

2,000 pounds of space dust and other space debris fall on the Earth every day.

It takes about 142.18 licks to reach the center of a Tootsie pop.

Approximately 40,000 Americans are injured by toilets each year.

Quote options!:

  • When it rains look for rainbows, when it’s dark look for stars.

  • Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Take the moment, and make it perfect.

  • If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.

  • Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to DANCE IN THE RAIN!

I like the one about building doors. :)

So, I'd like to do PP and CaC in the "Featured Threads" section. And maybe the featured RP now and then, but not every week.

I have another quote: "Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there's footprints on the moon" —Paul Brandt.

And we totally should allow people to submit poems and stuff. We could have contests, like Cricket mag!

@Abigail S.- That's my favorite quote! I found it somewhere last year, but I forget where. I can never remember the guy's name that  wrote it.

I don't know, the closest I've ever come was forgetting to put down the seat before sitting. It was acatually very starteling, sitting in the toilet bowl. Very col, very wet, very unexpexted

Admins, please top!

So I want to have the CB News this week. Abi, I can do the CC and PP articles this week if you want.

A big thing going on in DtE is  Politics Thread- I know this is extremely controversial, but I feel like if I present it in an unbiased way it might be okay. That being said, I don't want CB news to be part of this conflict...Thoughts?

THIS IS A DRAFT!!!!!!!!

From The Cricket Chatterbox:

SOMEWHAT NEW

Cricket News!*

Issue 2, date goes here (not sure when we’ll release this)

By Bibliophile and Abigail? Maybe we should just get rid of this and have our names on the articles we write?

* What if we had the CBers enter a contest to figure out a name for the CB News? Cricket News is a bit  generic…

I want to have a goodbye thing for Shadow and Arin- I feel like I shouldn’t put it at the top though, because then it just gets depressing. If someone else wants to do this, please note that Arin and SD said they were probably coming back.  It would go like this:

Goodbye

Shadow Dragon and Arin recently went off the CB, Shadow Dragon because of the recent overload of drama. Shadow Dragon (age infinity, location: out in the rain) explained in his/her/they’re thread (http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/downtoearth/node/219293) “l am sick and tired of.... .....Everything going around here.  Petty arguments, overreacting, misunderstanding, and drama, drama, drama. You don't even know how much l hate drama.  All of it just make me wants to...bang my head on something hard. l can't tolerate it any longer, it kind of makes me....mad?...Honestly? It is not fun for me to stick around here anymore, l've grown tired of it all, most everything just annoys me to no end.

l am going to leave for......a while. (l'll be back. Probably.)”. The drama is a problem on the CB currently, and I hope we as a awesome literary community are able to solve it. SD, if you are reading this, you are a very important part of the CB and I hope you’ll return! Shadow Dragon wrote this thread on May 11th, 2016.

On May 8th, Arin (age 15, Location: Jakku*)  left because of some issues and conflicts in real life. On his thread, Arin wrote that he/she/they would “ be taking a break of an undetermined length of time until I can:

- get my mental illnesses under control

- get school under control

- basically until school ends?? idk really.” Arin was here for a shorter time than SD, but I hope he enjoyed the CB just the same and comes back.

(This is the Ultimate Guide Thread to help you understand the CB’s history, culture, vocabulary, activities, policies and more! Gosh, this sounds like a PSA/advertisement.)

The contest is a good idea! But then again, maybe we should keep Cricket News. We can put an advertisement in that people can still sign up to write parts in the paper. And when we post the issues, we could use the name "Cricket News" instead of Biblophile or Abigail or whoever.

Arin's a girl, and she was on before, around when Ruby joined. (roughly)

I think for fact and quote we should do all toilets flush in E flat and Dance in the Rain. Objections?

I want to write articles on Scylla's moving thread, Cayke's valentine's day thread, and some others. I'm going to ask them for permission.

I don't know if you have to ask permission, Biblio. I can't think of a reason why someone wouldn't want to.
