Red Robin!

For the newbies: A Red Robin is a story in which one person comments a beginning, and other people continue the story with installments of 1-3 sentences.

Something smacked Rose in he face. She leaned down, to pick it up, but she suddenly slumped to the ground as though she'd fallen asleep. Her head began to whirl, and she felt herself falling into nothingness.

Isn't it a round robin, darling? Lol!

The nothingness caressed her body gently, easing her into the sleep that encompassed her. It hid the movements and sounds from Rose, and held her until something was waved in her face. Instantly the blackness relented, and the poor girl sat up in a frenzied fit of coughing, which is why it took her so long to notice the small person in front of her.

The tall peacock feather waved clumsily, and hit her nose hard--it hurt more than a peacock feather should, she thought. Rose followed the colorful feather down to a small--what was it, even? She couldn't help staring.

"Hello?" the small creature grumbled, annoyed with her, for some reason. He (Rose thought it was a man) was a bit bigger than a rabbit and looked like what would happen if you mashed a human and a yak together, shrunk it, and gave it wool sweaters and a light maroon hat with a pom-pom.

(This is the hat.)

"Who are you?" she asked, with fearful wonder.

"Well, I was supposed be your music teacher, but that obviously didn't work out."

"Ms. Nutfield? Why? Did you do something to her? Is she okay? What are you? What's your name?"

How do you start a new thread???

On any of the Chatterbox sections home pages, look for the box near the top left that says Click here to talk about ______. Click there and a form for starting a new thread should come up. I think the only place you can't do this is on the Kyngdom section.
