And just to be a nice, cold stormcloud in your perfect, sunny day, I will enter.

Sorrow, like a knife

Piercing

Stabbing

Tears, like blood

Flowing

Pouring

Hope, like a fly

Dying

Drowning

Pain, like fire

Roaring

Burning

Darkness, like death

Shrouding

Hiding

Desolation, like a
spirit

Drifting

Flying

Shattered, like glass

Breaking

Broken

Gone.

Ahaha, how lovely, Scylla. That brightens my day like a warm sunbeam, bringing a smile to my face.

Yes, doesn't it! And Mei - despite however well it's written, it doesn't meet the criteria, it doesn't win.

Fellow Liturature Lover, Come Hither

after youv'e just read a

fantastic

amazing

mindblowing

piece of literature-

after the last page turns,

the acknowledgements

author's note

Q&A

About the Author

or epilouge ends

and youv'e been

roughly thrown back to a reality

where demigods, shadowhunters, centuars, and An Imperial Affliction

don't exist.

And your'e stuck in a crowded room

with people who you don't know

and don't understand.

But then you see

out of the corner of your eye-

the tip of a wizard's hat

and look further.

The wizard has just finished a book.

Falling asleep, knowing that the next day is your birthday. Feeling yourself slowly sink into the mattress and feeling the warm covers close around you and fall into dreams about unicorns...

What really makes me happy is walking out-of-doors on a beautiful autumn day. The sun is warm and golden, the wind is cool and brisk and enlivening, the sky is clear and new and a pure, untainted blue, and the air carries a fragrance welded of spices and sweetnesses I've never smelt before. The trees have come at last into their long-awaited glory-- bursts of deep crimson and shining gold, that is at once merry and magnificent.

And the wind is laughing and singing in the trees, making the leaves to dance and shimmer; and through the grass, causing it to rise and crash like ocean-waves, the sunlight streaming upon it like silver sea-foam; and across the sky, running free and wild. The fallen leaves form a rich carpet of gold and scarlet over the ground, and the wind catches them up in a swirling dance, making them to shine and cascade like fountains of autumn splendor. And the wind seems to catch me up, as well, sending me running and leaping and dancing with the leaves and the grass and the sunlight and the whole autumnal world. And we are all singing together-- all of us, and what we sing touches something I shall never be able to express with words. I feel as though I belong in this great, glad world; as though I have a place amid the care-free bliss of the dancing sunlight; that I am as free as the wind as it flies where it will along it's wild course. I feel truly happy, and truly free, and truly alive.

That is all. :)
