CHRISTIAN THREAD:

So I've heard that a couple people here are Christians, and I thought it's time we had a thread for Christians! Not to exclude non-believers or anything. Just to talk about the bible, God, church, anything like that. It's also cool just to meet other Christians on the CB! We can also talk about books that are aligories. (Like The Chronicals of Narnia, The Wingfeather saga, [im not just saying that because I'm a fan of it!]) You've probably guessed that I'm a Christian by now. ;-D Have Fun!

Some of you probably knew this already, but I'm a Christian!!

Okay so I'm really excited, but I have a mission trip to Memphis, TN, in June!! I can't wait! We're going to renovate homes in low income neighborhoods and witness to them. I'm SO excited!

I went on a mission trip when I was ten or eleven. It was amazing! We were working on building the walls to a house that another team had already started, and we had VBS with some of the kids in the area.

This sounds like a service project my brother is doing in Kentucky, were they get to rebuild things for people. I'm not old enough to go, but it sounds cool!

Im a Christian! An Assembly of God to be exact. If you don't know what that means, it's basically just modern type worship with electric guitars, drums, casual clothes and stuff. Like, my church has a rapper. He raps about the Bible, God, and Jesus and stuff, obviously. It's pretty cool, I think. So, what type of Christian are all of you?

O.O

Forgive me, Sav, but that seems extremely weird to me. Just let me take a moment to process that.

Okay, I think I got it now. I'm an LCMS Lutheran. My church is fairly laid back, but it's still nice. The people there dress semi-casual, but most of the teens will dress in jeans and a nice T-shirt. We have an organ, but our organist moved away, since her husband is a chaplain. :(

We have two pianists, so they switch out. We also have a pretty even mix of Homeschooled kids and Public schoolers. We had a homeschool group there last year, but two of the five families moved away and another started attending a different church.

(Himnerds and Pubbles XD a.k.a. Wizards and Muggles)

Yeah, I tend to do that with how my church is... XD... My best friend is Catholic and her church is really proper and fancy and all that jazz, so a lot of times we talk about our different churches and shock one another. Like, I played her one of my church songs, and then she played me one if hers, and.... I don't know. It's more fun than it sounds. I like confusing people.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I hate Catholic churches. I don't hate Catholics, (I have a friend who's Catholic) but I hate those churches. They just always seem so cold and unwelcoming ...

*shudders*

Seriously, when you step into one, all these statues are looming over you, and everyone's like, "Don't touch ANYTHING!" Man, those churches freak me out. They look so pretty on the outside ...
