So . . . I kinda didn't wanna make this post, but I think it's needed. It's clogging up everything, but it's something that's been brewing it the back of my mind.
First, I'm not angry. At all. I don't do that anymore, and I didn't think my comment to Mei was that bad. I did think a lot about what I was saying as I typed it. So I'm sorry if you thought it was mean. But I'm not saying sorry for my words. And believe me, I usually am.
Second, I talked with several people. I agree with them. We're making something big out of something little. Trust me, this is not a war. Just a stage. There's always be drama on the CB, always. Like someone said, there have and will always be drama, but that doesn't mean it's something as big as a war. I don't make promises I can't keep, but I promise, this will be over soon. The CB is strong. It won't fall. Also, it's never anyone's fault.
Third, nobody's perfect, we all make mistakes sometimes, but that's okay.
Fourth, I don't want Mei-Xue to change completely. Her courage will make her accomplish a lot in life (just tone it down a teeny bit on here, okay?) Hey, I expect you to empower people in the future, and break that pi digit record, ;)
Finally, I know some of the older CBers want it to be the way it used to be, but I think the only thing we can do is to hold the memories in our heart and look forward to the future.
By the way, if this becomes an argument, I'd appreciate it if the Admins would lock it from comments.
Thank you. I know this may sound a bit dramatic, but I couldn't hold back.

I agree with everything you said, Novelist. especially the last thing.
The CB is changing and will always be changing, and you can't cling onto the past, making it sad for yourself and unwelcoming to new CBers. So instead of complaining that you want everything to be the same, because it's not going to be that way, let's embrace the future.

l do not wish to be insulting, however it always kind of makes me sad when l see the sort of above comment. It isn't wrong to rememeber, especially for the people who have been here longer. l, for one, miss the community that this place once was, but l'm not "clinging to the past", l'm remembering what was once. It's not wrong to talk about it, l've often wanted to but l know people will just get mad over nothing.......again.

@Shadow Dragon: I am sorry for making you sad. I misphrased what I said. Youre right, we should just abandon our memories. I, too must admit that I miss how carefree the last summer was. This summer is a different story.
What I meant to say is...well, what bothers me is not remembering. That's fine. I'm talking about when people complain that the CB is dying and it just isn't the same with new people, because that kind of thing makes newcomers feel unwelcome. I'm not just saying this. Example: Do you remember Hootsie? She was a new CBer. She said on another thread a month ago I believe that she didn't feel welcome on the CB, that "people say welcome to new peeps but then they don't want me, they don't want new peeps, they just want the CBers that left." She said she might come back after a while, but for now she was leaving the CB. That's the kind of thing that makes me sad.

l've never had a problem with newer people, l want them here as much as anyone else. To a certain point, yes, it's annoying when people go, "Oh moan and groan things used to be much better and all the new people are wrecking everything." But! People rarely actually say that, they're just being sad about their friends who left or something, and the newer peoples get mad about that, thinking they're not welcome or valued.
l want to remember those people, yet everyone'll just rabble-rouse about it and......whatever. l'm too tired of it.
