I need advice.
I need advice. Should I make an AE? Most people on here have one, and... I don't know, lately I've been feeling a little left out from a lot of threads because I don't. I have some ideas so... Should I? I just don't know.

Booksy Owly, of course! I was sort of feeling the same way, which is why I made Quill and Zeon. We have nothing against people making new AEs. At least, I don't. It makes everything more fun and creative. St. Owl made an AE in-depth thread, so you can make your AEs in more detail. So if you want some ideas or a good form idea, go there. I think it was on Pudding's Place. But yes, if you want an AE - or two, three, 100 (that might be too much) - then please go ahead. Zeon and Quill are already dying to meet them!

Thanks, Ashlee. I guess what I wanted to ask is, do you think my personality would be benefited by an AE, or is it better without one? Would an AE add to it, or detract?

I don't know you that well, booksy owly. You know yourself best. I think you should make an AE if you want to show another side of yourself. Or, something totally opposite to yourself! My AE, Bolton, says:
Yeah, Elmodaisy thinks she is insane. That's why she made me, because I am smooth, I am silent...
that is not what I meant! I do not think I am insane! Sorry, Booksy Owly.

As for your second question, Booksy, I don't know you too well. But, based off what I have seen, you have a great personality. And, with AEs, I believe it could make things enjoyable. Again, I don't know you too well, so I cannot say how it would improve/lower everything. Ultimately, the choice is up to you. You know yourself best, to say.

I say, don't force it, Booksy. If you have inspiration for an AE, go for it! But if you're just feeling peer pressured, just remember, AEs aren't required. I think it would be great fun for you to have an AE. But if you're only thinking about making one because you're feeling left out, and not really because you've got an alternate personality struggling to escape. . . I would personally say no. But in the end, it's all your choice.

Don't make one just because of peer pressure, just because everyone else is doing it. I did and I'm still regretting it.

Well, AE's usually won't distract from your personality.
It all depends really on if you have a different side of yourself that you would like to show. Of course, you don't have to get an AE. I have one, but I really don't use her that much.

Don't make one unless you're going to put a lot of time and care into its creation, and you would like to post as the AE.

I think you should, Booksy! But remember that having an AE is supposed to be fun. If it would put pressure on you or have any other negative impact... I don't know. Just don't overthink it. My AEs are sort of reduced versions of a few of my fictional characters-- and I don't use them very often, but I like having them around. Just do what's fun for you-- because that's the whole point of an AE. :)
