Judging from a lot of comments, you all seem to love disagreeing with each other.

So stop. Really, use some tact.

Look, y'all. I've been here for almost a year now. And in recent months, it seems to me we've had a sizable chunk of arguments and wars.

That's no one person's fault.

You're not going to make me want to recreate something that made a huge dent in my feelings and kind of strained my relationship with CB and all of you. Especially not by saying, That is bad you feel that way. You MUST try again when you fail otherwise there's something wrong with your brain.

Growth mindset isn't the same as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

CB used to make me happy.

Now it's making me mad.

Oh, good! Yes, I get the feeling of frustration with the CB. Mainly being I have a short temper and things like this really frustrate me. I am actually considering doing what Gared did, which is cut out the CaC (and maybe DtE) for a while. If not permanently. I believe maybe you should do the same if this is a little too much for you. Because it sure is for me and countless others.

Abi, I...am feeling frustrated as well. I really don't want to say that, but I am. Please don't leave though. Maybe just stay off of Chirp at Cricket. Gared is doing it.

No! Abi! I don't want you to leave. I've noticed the disagreements too, but I think it will stablize. I'm sorry if I've offended people. You are an extremely important CBer. (Everyone is.) I think we can work through this disagreement, but I understand why you're leaving Abi. I will miss you a whole lot. Goodbye, and Good luck.    

 

I think Abi just said she often says "Bye" at the end of a comment, a closing, not meaning that she's leaving CB.

Abi, you aren't leaving, are you? If you try to, that will be the third person I've had to tie to a chair today--*scans comments* oh, good, you're not. 

Okay, so...I love debates! But only when we can do it open-mindedly, and we are careful about each other's feelings, and are being nice to one another. But...it seems like you guys got out of hand, from what I read....just like the Harry Potter Haters thread. But we can't argue anymore.

This is the second time. The first was the conflict over the AE war...and now the debate. I might borrow your ideas for this.... *grits teeth* I am going to solve this peacefully...or die trying.

I'm sorry Abi. I don't really know what's going on, (I'm not involved in the debate stuff. . .), and I have been gone for a couple days, but I hope that everything will get resolved soon.

Abigail, I couldn't agree more.

Admins, I tried to post something on Mei's thread that wasn't mean or rude at all, and it hasn't shown up. I tried posting it HOURS ago, and more posts (including posts of mine) have shown up since then. 

 

Your previous comment, Brookeira, will take some thought and consideration before being approved or edited. And it's been so busy, I can't say when that will happen. We need to look at the whole thread, wanting to avoid repetition. If screening takes too much time, we may still delete the whole thread.
