I walk up to little soapbox, broken down. All the CBers are standing around it, weeping. A grab some duct tape, and in seconds, the soapbox is standing once again. The CBers stare. It's like I'm the only one who thought of rebuilding the soapbox. I grab a little sign and hang it above the soapbox. It reads,
Abi's Soapbox
and in small print underneath,

So what do you think? I thought I might need the soapbox sometime, after someone explained to me what it was. And, is there a reason why no one has thought of rebuilding the soapbox? Should I not have done it? Or was I just the only one who thought of it? By the way, this is in honor of the CBers weeping over the death of the soapbox in the soapbox thread.

What if we all work together to make one, a soapbox that will never fall? We have to use speical ingredients...something that represents:

Inkwell
@Everyone: Can you help me get ideas for what would symbolize each section of the CB?
I'm thinking wood from pencils for Inkwell, and pages of Cricket magazines for CaC...

Ya! Perfect! And old book covers from BaB! And for puddings place.....old Pudding Recipes? No I'm kidding. Seriously though, any ideas? Maybe world maps for DtE? Or maybe whatever globes are made of from recycled globes?

You made my day for rebuilding the Soap Box! And Owlgirl, I think the pencils and Cricket Magazine pages should be used. What about... CBer's artwork from Pudding's Place and words of support from Down to Earth? Then probably books for BaB. Just suggestions, though.

For PP we could do paint! For DtE we could do dirt! For BaB we could do pages from a book!

For Pudding's Place, we could do some pages from a play, or a mask, or something of that sort.
Down to Earth, either some dirt or "words of advice" :)
Inkwell, bottle of ink and feather quill/pen? Or maybe even some ball point pens?
If I have any more ideas, I'll tell you.

Kyngdom is mainly focused around the six Powers, so if we got something magical or powerful.....DRAGON SCALES! Or maybe something that symbolizes the six, like my locket, or something the PowerFriend made....

I don't want to speak for Icy or Abi, but I'm pretty sure "destroying" the fictional soapbox was supposed to be a gesture of hope that fights like these would never happen again. Not trying to read into anything too much, but that's what I got from it.

Bookworm, the soapbox was what people used to "stand" on when they wanted to state an opinion or fact about wars we have had. example:
*deep breath* *stands on the soapbox* People! Ahem! I believe it is time to resolve our differences!

Actually, that's a good point, HAB.
Maybe we can discuss ideas here...but how about we not actually construct the soap box, make it official or...existing, until a time when we need it?
