I'm back from

I'm back from my weeklong vacation, and I'm really confused now. 

There are so many new threads that I feel like I shouldn't join because they are already so far ahead.

The threads that were at the top when I left are now in page 2, 3, or even 4.

I'm really sad that Ashlee has to leave, because it was so fun to have Zeon and Arwen crushing. Ashlee is an amazing person, and always takes the time to post on people's threads. Many threads that I see have her name in the first post, because she's just so thoughtful and considerate of other people's feelings.

I'm disappointed because my Harry Potter CB story is dead. Okay, maybe it wasn't great writing, myabe I'm not a great writer, but still, it's in the third page and my tops won't bring it up.

Elmodaisy's Star Wars contest thread is dying. I posted my answers and topped it, but I don't know if it will last.

I'm overwhelmed with all the new threads and things, and I don't know where to turn. It's just too much.

Katydid left because of this, and I won't do that, but I just need to sit and calm down... maybe I'll post some more today, if I feel able to.

Okay, then. Good idea. Take some deep breaths. It'll be okay. The CB always moves pretty fast, so it's disorienting when you get back after a while. I can help you top your CB story. I'm in it.

And forgive me for being specific...Katydid didn't leave because she felt overwhelmed by the CB. She just "grew out of it" and didn't feel the need to be in it anymore.

Welcome back, Leafpool! I've been swamped with keeping up who on the CB is on vacation or simply gone for a week that I couldn't remember if you were gone or not. Zeon's been panicking because Arwen hasn't been around.

I know the feeling of being overwhelmed with the CB. That is what I felt when first coming back after 2 years. I didn't know anyone, all the threads were new, I had a lot to learn. Then after being gone for a few days for camping, I came back and the same thing occurred. Most of my threads - or ones I was a part of - had sunk pages with no hope of returning.

So, like Owlgirl agreed with, take a deep breath. Take time reading the threads before you worry about commenting/joining. It'll all make sense, soon enough.

As for that double wedding... We are just waiting for Mewfour and Cloud's opinion. Then it's all on.

Finally, I might not be leaving. My parents have to talk about it more, but there might be a compromise as to where I don't use it at all during the weekdays, and for a short time on the weekends. Not forever gone, I'll just not be on often. That isn't for sure, but there is a good chance of it being so.
