I added little notes here and there to correct the grammar. . .

1. There are tons and tons of videos and articles out there on why Slytherin's not evil.

Rebuttal: N/A

2. All Houses have their stereotypes. Gryffindor for being show-offs, Ravenclaw for being nerdy, Hufflepuff for being losers, Slytherin for being evil. None of them are true, why should Slytherin be any different?

Rebuttal: True. We shouldn't stereotype them.

3. I'm Slytherin. I wouldn't follow Voldemort.

Rebuttal: Good for you.  [Mei’s note: XD XD XD XD]

4. Not all bullies were Slytherins. James Potter, the Gryffindor, was the bully to Severus Snape, the Slytherin, the victim.

Rebuttal: I'm not saying all bullies are slytherin. I'm saying most/all Slytherins were bullies. [Mei’s note: You kept the “all” there. Just FYI. And you forgot to capitalize "Slytherin". XD]

5. Regulus sacrificed himself against Voldemort. Snape received hate and mistrust from both sides and was lonely and secretive for most of his life. He endured pain, and eventually sacrificed, too. Slughorn may have been annoying, I'll admit that, but he fought the Death Eaters. Narcissa Malfoy risked her life by telling Voldemort that Harry was dead. Draco also betrayed Voldemort.

Rebuttal: But regulus originalLy joined the death eaters. And may I point out that snape only turned to the good side to save lily and was bound to stay with Dumbledore once she died. I have to agree that slughorn wasn't really a bad person, though. Narcissa only lied to save Harry because she wanted to find her son. She was evil most of her life and only left Voldemort when he threatened her son. Draco betray Voldemort? When? [Mei’s note: At the end. Also, there was no proof that Narcissa was evil, only her husband. Type carefully.] [I found another typo in "originally". XD]

6. If Harry hadn't met Ron or Hagrid, then he wouldn't have known about Slytherin's evil reputation. Then he wouldn't have refused when that Sorting Hat tried to put him in Slytherin. And if Harry hadn't met Ron or Hagrid, the hero and good guy of our books would be in SLYTHERIN! And Harry is not evil!

Rebuttal: I think he would have been very unhappy. [Mei’s note: Up to you, Nov. . .]

7. I'll admit that most of Voldemort's followers were Slytherin, and that Hufflepuff turned out the least Dark Wizards. Rowling said so. But her wording--"Hufflepuff turned out the least Dark Wizards of all the Houses"--Makes me think that there were more than one. Pettigrew brought Voldemort back to life, and he was in Gryffindor. Quirrel tried to get the Sorcerer's Stone for Voldemort. . . And he was Ravenclaw! Look it up.

Rebuttal: More than one? Well, yes, other houses turned out minorgroups of dark wizards. Since the vast majority of Slytherins were evil, I think that the house in general is evil. [Mei's note: You forgot to comment on me pointing out about the evil nonSlytherin wizards.][Mei’s other note: :( Since the vast majority of my race are math nerds, do I have to be? :( *Sad face* *Sad sad face* *Crying face* Also, you forgot a space after your first comma. And between "minor" and "groups". Just being an annoying grammar person, as always. XD]

I love finding typos too much. I think that most of us do like correcting grammar. I know St.Owl does, and I think that Scylla mentioned it.

Oh, sorry I just can't do this. I'm sorry, I feel bad that I couldn't help make the debate thread, and I truly hope it works out. Perhaps Scylla can be the judge again?

*Sigh* Why do I feel like you're taking advantage of me? Hopefully this isn't too biased.

1. Not applicable.

2. N/A. It's an agreement and defies the meaning of "rebuttal," which is "contradiction."

3. N/A. Not very well written and doesn't argue anything.

4. What am I even trying to do here? All the rebuttals so far have either been undeterminable, weak, or not even rebuttals.

5. I managed to discern a vague meaning from the strange capitalizations and I rule this as strong. Proven evidence was supplied.

6. Not a rebuttal.

7. [Scylla's notation: The word "evil" was overused.] Weak and overrun with typos.

I'm disappointed in this. It coud hardly be considered a discussion, much less a debate. Work to higher standards next time.

You do because Daisy couldn't find enough contradictions to cancel out your points.

What do we debate next? Can we do something more... intense?
