If you could

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

If you could

If you could identify yourself as one color, not counting race, what would it be and why?

This is the topic of one of my summer work projects this year, and I want to know what you guys will do with it.

I picked the color of the ocean on a calm day, because it's sparkly at the top and gets more complex and interesting the farther you look into it. (This is all I have so far. I still have to write two pages about why I chose this color :P)

So have fun with this, guys! I know you'll write some cool stuff. I can't wait to read what you have to say.

Oh oh oh! I wrote a small story-type thing where a bunch of characters were identifying each other as things/colors. For example, one named Holly was the color of an eraser because she fixes (and looks beyond) people's mistakes. I'm not sure about myself, though.

My friends (online and off) who have synesthesia all strangely identify me as some sort of combonation of blue and red.

I think that's pretty accurate. I love blue because of its calmness, its many different shades, complexitites, and ways it can be seen. Blue to me is peace, intelligence, and careful observation. Red is strong, brave, and impulsive, the side of me that jumps to conclusions, worries about things that won't happen, and does stupid things because they sound fun.

Hm... Let me do some deep thinking. *stares off into the distance and thinks*

Aha! I've got it! My color is amber, because I am cheerful and funny (I also like that color).

Spirit-rain says bech. Does she mean beach, belch, or Bach?

*I mean none of the above.* grins mischievously

Okay. After a long, thoughtful two days, I think I've found my color.

Sky blue. It's not just because I like it, but because I change often like the sky. Some days I can be moody and dark, but you always know that my happy mood will return eventually. The sky is most colorful at sunrise and sunset, and I always seem to get the best ideas or creative juices late at night or early in the morning. So, yeah. Bye.

I think the color that would represent me the best would be plum. The dark reddish-violet type, not more lavender colored. Like me, the color is deep and thoughtful, but also contains parts of red, a color linked to energy and passion. It's also a color symbolised with springtime, along with green and yellow.

A lot of people on CB describe me as a creamy white, though, which I also like.
