Olympics Opening Ceremony!!!
Is anyone else going to be watching the Olympics Openning Ceremony? I am definitely going to and I am pumped. Honestly, I'm probably more excited for it than I should be... Anyways, let's do a quick survey because why not?
1. Who are some of your favorite Olympic athletes? (Competing this summer or not)
Mine are Sheila Taormina, Missy Franklin, and Gwen Jorgensen.
2. Are you watching the opening ceremony? If yes, are you excited?
YESSSSS!!!!
3. Do you do any of the sports in the summer olympics?
Yes, I am a triathlete and a swimmer.
4. What is your favorite Olympic event to watch?
All of them are really awesome to watch in my opinion!
5. Do you see yourself ever going to the Olympics to either participate or watch it live?
I hope I can go, but it's more likely that I'll go to watch than to participate. (I don't think I'm Olympic material- I'm not fast enough! 
)
YES! I'll be watching and I'm excited. I'm wearing my t-shirt with flags of the world covering the back. I love swimming, but I don't race. My favorite event to watch will be synchronized swimming, but I also like soccer, swimming, diving, equestrian, gymnastics, . . . I'll only watch on TV or online, not in person. I wouldn't want to deal with the crowds, lines, etc. Although if these Olympics had been awarded to Chicago, I would have tried to go stand along the route of the Marathon. If you consider winter Olympics, then my favorite event is figure skating!

Well, I haven't done much research, or been watching any of them (oops), but Allyson Felix is probably my favorite.
2. Are you watching the opening ceremony? If yes, are you excited?
Yep, right now.
3. Do you do any of the sports in the summer olympics?
Basketball and volleyball. If softball counts, then I play softball as well.
4. What is your favorite Olympic event to watch?
I'm not a gymnast at all, but it's cool to watch. Beach volleyball, equestrian, basketball, and soccer/football/whatever are also up there.
5. Do you see yourself ever going to the Olympics to either participate or watch it live?
Hahaha, no. There would be a tiny chance I could go if it was in Chicago *fingers crossed*

I'm watching right now I'm so excited! There's just some guy talking in Portuguese right now, so I can type this. It's been really cool!

I do cross country/track, and I used to be a swimmer

All of them except basketball. And maybe wrestling/martial arts

I definitely won't compete, but I'd love to go watch!

Yeah, I watched the whole thing! I loved the children with the kites when they gave the awards!
1. My favorite Olympians are Simone Biles, Aly Raiseman, everyone else on the gymnastics team, and Katie Ledecky!

I watched them on TV while on Vacation!
1: Gabby Douglas, Missy Franklin, Madison (I forgot her last name! :-O) and a backup lath lets in gymnastics. I forgot her name as well. O.O
2: I watched on TV! And yes, I was!
3: no, but I love to swim and used to take gymnastics.
4: I'm not sure, but I love Gymnastics, and I've never watched Syncronized swimming or Equestrian, but want to this year!
5: No. But watching live is a possibility (emphasis on possibility.)
this was fun! Fun Fact: it is a tradition of mine to root for a different country's team each year! I watched the Sochi Winter Olympics four years ago, and cheered Russia on, and this year I am rooting for Sweden, as well as the good ol USA!

Olympics? I used to love watching that, but I haven't in a while. In fact, I did not know they were going on at all until I heard an ad on the radio. Umm... I won't answer these since I don't feel I have the right to. You know, since I didn't even know it was going on. But I imagine it is great!
