Good for you! I'm glad that it went OK. I think a few people felt a little hurt (I saw that Roderick dropped out, and he hasn't posted since?), but that's fine!

Also, Mei, to be honest? I'm still mad. I feel like that Roderick kid was kind of scared. I'm worried that he won't come back to the CB because of the debate thread.

And really, you were a tiny bit exclusive in the phrasing of your call-to-make-another-debate thread. Maybe people had a point (especially older CBers like Danie, Brookeira, and Ashlee) when they tried to say it might not be the best idea, and that the CB doesn't need debate threads to thrive? That maybe it's not a matter of "everyone who agrees with me=growth, everyone who disagrees=fixed!!!".
