Tara~~~~~~~~

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Tara~~~~~~~~

Tara~

~~~~~~~~~~
This, indeed, is a sad day. I'm saying goodbye to Tara.
She was my first Æ, originally named Grace, before I changed it. She's the blue knight.
I feel like it's time for her to go, becuase I'm not feeling in touch with her personality at all. She's gone from brave to shy to brave again, and the whole time I haven't really felt like she's had a personality.
Æ middle school, I think that someone is going to have to carry the tragic news. It would be rather pointless to have her living and dead at the same time.
All the ski lodges that Tara is still alive in, you can kill her at your own time.
So, I'm going to have to give her a tragic death. She would've liked it that way.
I leave is to you to determine the circumstances of this scene.
A blue sword flashes through the air, and the sound of clanging metal rings through the air like a bell. A girl, dressed in blue armor, helmet gone, blue hair flowing down her back, is fighting a knight. He is dressed in black armor, and the faded insignia of a serpent is painted across his shield. Tara attacks, then blocks the knight's thrust. Suddenly, she springs through the air, sword outstretched, and knocks the shield out of the knight's hand. She jumps forwards, and pushes the knight over. He lays panting on the forest floor. "Do you yield?" She asks, voice full of triumph. The knight snarls. "Never." Suddenly, there is a dagger in his hand. Tara attempts to jump aside, but is too late. He plunges it into her heart, and she stumbles backwards. The last word that falls from her mouth is "Traitor." Then she falls down. Dead.
Moments later, Sir Richard runs into the clearing. He sees his sister's limp body, and the smug knight that is standing over her. Rage boils up inside him. He yells out a challenge. The knight turns around, and attacks, but quickly falls under Richard's angry onslaught.  Richard leaves the body of the dead knight, and rushes over to his sister. He sadly takes her sword, Aquadeath. "I will carry it always." He whispers, voice choked with sorrow. Then he takes the sword, and stands up. Moments later, Saphira lands in the clearing. "I felt something.... Tara..." She bows her head. Then, morphing into a dragon, she gently picks up Tara in her talons, and flys off towards Castle Glenwood.
*Starts crying* Rest in peace, dear Tara... May Castle Glenwood protect your brave soul.
RIP, Tara, the bravest of nights.
I never got to really meet Tara, but I have heard much about her. RIP, gentle AE.
Dear Tara, we will remember you always. We'll remember you as you were: brave, loyal, valiant. A true knight.
(softly) Oh. I...I didn't know her very well, but she was a knight...and a brave one too, it sounds like. She used to be named Grace...Owlgirl, is that why I'm named Grace?
No, but I am proud you share the original name of a very great person.
Shadowmoon, would you like a gummy bear? They're a special Royal Blue, to bring you a little comfort when you're feeling sad.
*tears roll down face* Oh, Richard. *takes hand* *sits in silence for a few minutes, because sometimes that's what one needs* There are moments that the words don't reach...*pauses* *regains strength* *trys again* There are moments that the words don't reach. There is suffering too terrible to name. You hold your sister as tight as you can, and push away the unimaginable...the moments when you're in so deep, it feels easier to just swim down...*gives gentle hug* I know how much Tara meant to you. She was such a wonderful person. I am here for you, Richard. I am here, if you need someone to talk to, to hug, even just to listen. I am here for you, and always will be.
Thanks, Owlgirl. And Grace, I'd love a gummy bear. *takes gummy bear* *slips into magical duffle bag for later*
Sir Richard: Thank you so much, Mellie. That means a lot to me. I-I don't really know what to say. Other than you're so amazing. And thank you.
NO DON'T GIVE HER A BLUE GUMMY BEAR! IT'LL REMIND HER OF...the loss of Tara. Tara was all in blue and.....
Chilly, sometimes we need these things.
Huh? *sniffle*
We need to remember her--when my dog died, all I wanted was to be with her, and to have her back. So I got all of my Yellow Lab--or stuff that LOOKED like a yellow lab--rador toys, and my photo of her, and keep them in my room. When I see her, (even as what I think is a ghost), it makes me feel better and to want to keep her with me.
That's...beautiful...
You're not one to really appreciate that stuff, Chilly, are you...softening up?
No...I'm not...I just.....
Wow, Chilly's becoming a softie. That's a little strange...she didn't really know Lyra...
Shh...it's okay Chilly...
*bawls*
I um...Frosty's bringing me here because...I felt guilty about Tara. I didn't really know her. I wish I got to support her in the time that she was alive, and I wish I could've shipped her with Baelfire instead of shipping Violet with Baelfire, and I wish I would've been able to support her with all-*starts sniffling then sobs*
*pats her on the back*
I am not a softie...I am not a softie...
*soothingly* no, you're not. It's usual for people to cry when things like this happen.
The noblest knight ever to grace the Chatterbox.
