Hey, guys. I

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Hey, guys. I

Hey, guys. I need to ask you something. I'm sorry if it makes me seem self absorbed, or bratty or anything, but it's really been bothering me.

Does anybody here really think of me as a friend? OtheR than a few people... or, rather, one person?

Do you think I'm annoying? PLEASE answer this honestly! I'm so worried that people find me annoying.

I feel like nobody really notices me. Is it because I have no AEs? I saw somebody mention something about how the cbers with no AEs don't really get noticed. Is this true?

Again, I'm so sorry if this post seem childish or dumb. These questions have been tugging at me for a while. I couldn't ignore them any longer. I'm sorry.

Aww, Cockleburr! I don't think you are annoying at all. At all! No, I don't think it is because you have no AE's. In fact, pretty much every day I find out that a CBer had an AE, and a well known one at that! Cho can tell you, that I pretty much have no idea which AE's belong to which CBers.

I don't know you well enough to be counted as your friend, but I really want to change that. I love your writing. I am so glad you posted this, Cockleburr. It doesn't make you seem bratty or self absorbed whatsoever. It shows how brave you are too admit this and how much you trust us. Thank you.

Thank you Daisy. Your comment really made my day. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much this means to me. Thank you.

Don't feel bad, Cockleburr. I don't find you annoying or bratty. Just as Daisy said, it was brave of you to admit this. And no, I don't think your problem is caused by not having AEs. AEs don't make you popular, they just add some interest to everyone's day (if you think I'm calling you boring, that's not what I meant). You don't have to get AEs if you don't want to. *hands virtual block of cheese*

Huh, Spirit-rain says waur. Don't start a war, you silly CAPTCHA!

Cockleburr, you have no idea how long I've been wanting to make something like this. You are really brave to actually do it! I don't know you well enough to be your friend, but I really want to, as I don't have any real CBer friends. There are some people I want as a CBer friend, but I can't get the courage to ask them. And you're not bratty or dumb or childish or any those things! You are an amazing writer and I love your personality. It's alright if you have no Æs. Before I had any Æs, I felt that I needed some Æs to make me more 'popular' on the CB, and it didn't really change anything. And I notice you all the time! If I were to list all the CBers I could think of, you would definetely be on that list. And I read the whole EVIL'S REVENGE RP you were on, and I loved Clover. You are an AMAZING CBer, Cockleburr!

I'm so glad you loved Clover! That makes me SO happy! I really poured my soul into writing for her, she was the first charrie I ever made, and I felt like she was real. She was real to me. She is real. Even though EVIL's revenge died, she was still real to me. Sometimes I still write for her, although I never post it. I wrote one final post and I wrote a sort of 'happily ever after' story.

1. I do not find you annoying. :)

2. I do notice you, though I don't know you well (as yet).

3. It's not dumb, and it's good you're not ignoring the questions!  But whyever would you think you might be annoying people?

I guess I'm just sorta paranoid about things like that. I post something and right after I press submit I just kinda freak out, thinking things like 'Oh, no! What if she takes it the wrong way? What if that sounds mean? What if-' just stuff like that.

I do that too, all the time :P It's something I'm learning to get past, because it takes so much energy and causes too much stress - I have to know that even if there's a miscommunication, the other person and I will be able to set things right. :)  We don't always get ourselves across properly the first time, but there are usually second chances.

Hey. Cockleburr. You are not annoying. You are an awesome CBer. I know exactly how you feel, and I've felt the same way, but YOU ARE WELL LIKED. I haven't interacted with you a whole lot, but I'd be honored to be your friend. You are sweet, and kind, and creative, and clever, and dedicated. We love yah. *Hugs*

Hey, Cockleburr, this post isn't childish at all! I understand the feeling, but it will get better over time. Like Daisy said, I don't know you well enough to call you a friend. But I do adore and admire everything you do! You are extremely skilled in everything you set your mind to. Your character is that of an amazing person, and I have no doubt you will go far.

As for the whole "you must have AEs to be known" part, I mean... sadly, that is the way it seems to be recently. I hate the idea that you must have something to be something. It's pathetic. BUUUTTT we can change that, no? Let's make it clear that we want everyone to be equal, AE or no AE. I don't feel like you should have to own an AE to be noticed. It's just how things are. But, like I said, that WILL change. I promise!

Overall, just don't worry. People here care about you, I included.

It's okay! I think I understand how you feel. But whatever your doubts may be, I still can't forget your loyalty in the Gods & Goddesses RP. Thank you for that.
