An RP is a roleplay, where a person makes a plot and other people make characters, join, and write the story with everyone else. You can find these at the Inkwell.

The first comment on a NEW POST usually sends the post to the back
pages. In order to quickly find your new post, go to the section that
you posted it in (BaBs, Inkwell, CaC, DtE, etc.) and sort the "SUBMITTED
BY" column to most recent by clicking on the actual words "Submitted
by" (usually clicking it twice will do the trick). Once you find it, you
have to WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST COMMENT APPEARS before commenting
or making a "topping post" or the new post will continue to remain in
the back pages. If the first comment is visible already, the second
comment should send the post back to the front pages where it belongs.

hey linx, i'm DRAGON (it must be spelled with caps) welcome to cricket. i joined about 6 months ago so i totaly know how confusing it can be. here are some brief definitions of some chatter box terms

CBer: an abreviation for chatterboxer, anyone who posts on chaterbox

RP: a role play, someone posts the start of a story and then everyone else replys and writes what their character is doing

charrie: a character

AE: an alter ego, this is Grey, my AE

AEs are usually written in bold or italix so that you know who is talking

CAPTCHA: they are kind of like pets, some people have them and post what they say. this is found out bu the little code box down at the bottom of the screen whenever you submit some writing. as an example; Chatter, my captcha says: ncmu, nice to meet you!

Top: it is what you write when you want a thread to appear at the top of a page

Ski lodge: some one else please explain this, its too complicated

Kyngdom: a collection of RPs that are all linked together, you can get to it through inkwell.

also, dont join too many RPs at once, its seen as kind of rude on chatter box if you are typing on so many stories that you start to forget about some of them.
