Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

I've got to

I've got to be honest, I love Cricket. I've been getting a subscription for about three years, and each one is better than the last. Many of the stories deal with real- world problems, like poverty, global warming, and racial injustice. That's great- I love that.

Skye, Cricket is aimed at readers age 9 and up. While we do have older teen and even adult readers--a good story can be enjoyed by all ages--our themes must be appropriate for our youngest readers. There are other magazines and sites that are appropriate for older readers. Check out Cicada, our magazine for teens age 14 and up.

Question: why did you advise Skye against Cricket when she said it was awsome?

Maybe part of the comment was deleted, or Admin was just looking at Skye's age.

Personally, it looks to me like "falling in love with someone" is a sort of rite-of-passage for Cicada ('cause that's what all the poems are about and I write poetry), so I don't go on there because, fortunately, that's never happened to me!
