The Secret Life of Admins
This is where we ask the Admins random questions (example: what is your favriote book) and hope they answer.
Well, I can answer that question, sort of. I love many great books. It's not really fair to compare them and name one favorite. Each may be a favorite for a different reason: content, adventure, language, style, etc. But if I HAD to name one favorite, I would say "Remembrance Rock" by Carl Sandburg. It's a masterpiece, and the only novel he ever wrote! I could go on, but there are many other comments waiting to be reviewed and posted.

How and why did you all become Admins? (why as in why did you want to)
I was already working for Cricket, because I love young people's literature, great stories, poetry, and art. When Chatterbox started, the job of Admin was assigned to me--and I love it! But I still do lots of other things in the editorial department, too.

Admins, do you ever spend time together outside of work, or talk to each other during the time that you work? If so, would you mind sharing one of your favourite memories with the other Admins?
I don't, because I live a few hours or more away from the others. I have met one of them a few times in office meetings. And we all do discuss magazine work and other things via email.

Do you ever read books that CBers recommend? I mean, I know they're mostly kid/tween books, but have you read some of the more popular series?
Yes, I do read books recommended by Chatterboxers. Some that come to mind are Warriors, The Book Thief, and The Westing Game.

Cool! Okay, another question- do you ever listen to music that CBers recommend? I know a lot of us like Fall Out Boy and Hamilton, and I was wondering if you ever try them out because we make a ton of threads about music :)
I've listened to some of Hamilton, not necessarily because of Chatterboxers but because I read and heard so much about it. That's about all that CB has influenced me in that area. I can't answer for the other Admins. Some of the music recommended and discussed is music with which I'm already familiar anyway.

2. How can I tell which admin is which?
There are 2 regulars and 2 additional who may help out as needed. You can't tell who is who. We're meant to be anonymous, just here to review and post comments and answer questions.

I can relate to the Blue Moon story- I am actually writing this with a broken wrist!
I was lucky in that I could still use my fingers with my broken wrist.

Which of the charrie's you've ever read about sounds most like you, either in personality or looks or maybe both. Could you post a link to the thread they're from?
