hey guys~

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

hey guys~

hey guys~

wow, it's been four years since i first joined this place. i was almost eleven, now i'm fifteen. i'm never here anymore-- i've found new homes-- but i thought i'd stop by and say hi.

i haven't been on here regularly for more then two years, i'm sure, but it still feels like yesterday when i called this place my nest. the people here taught me a lot about everything-- if it hadn't been for you guys, i wouldn't even know about nanowrimo, which was one of the best things ever to happen to me. thank you guys for everything and i hope that you've been keeping this place alive and well since i've been gone.

this place has changed so much, and it's not for me to say whether for better or for worse. this nook doesn't belong to me anymore and i'm definitely not here to stay in any frequencey, but feel free come say hello. i'd love to hear about your lives~

to all of you who don't recognize me (the majority of the population, i'm sure), i'm corina. i'm a fifteen-year-old girl. i like anime and books and glitter and sweets. i draw and write dark fantasy novels and collect obscure board games.

Hey Corina.

I was browsing some old CB posts and I saw your name a lot! Welcome back, and thanks for stopping by. You don't know me, but I joined in mid-January of this year. I'm a year younger than you, and yeah, the Chatterbox has taught me so much as well. Basically, I'm just a nature freak/writer.

i recognize your name, but i'm sure i've only seen you once or twice when i've popped in over the years. it's lovely to meet you~ i'm glad the cb could have that effect on you as well.

Oh, Corina! I remember you! I don't know if you remember me, but I've been on for about 2 and a half years, so maybe you do? Well, I was 9 then, so if you do remember me, I was probably pretty immature and annoying, but I'm 12 now. I like books, glitter, and sweets, and I've seen some anime and I liked it, but I wouldn't say I watch it on a regular basis.. Yes, this place has greatly changed, and I'm not sure quite what to think of it either. I suppose I like meeting new people, but I don't have an AE (alter ego) and a lot of threads revolve around them, so it's a bit... hmm.. I'm not sure what to call it, but it's happening. Also, there are a lot of people! When I first joined it was like "Well, you've got your 5 main friends and there's a few other people stopping by occasionally too" but I feel like CB has gotten much more crowded! As for my life I think he real world, I watch too much YouTube, listen to too much alternative music, and I really like chinchillas, so those are some pretty fun things... well, goodbye, Corina! I hope to see you soon and it was nice of you to check in! <3 :)

i remember you! but as you said, back then you were very young. i hope you enjoy your year-- twelve was a great year for me. which anime have you seen, if you don't mind me asking? i watch a lot, so i'll probably have at least heard of it.

and i completely agree with you on the more people part. when i was here regularly, there was only like twenty of us on in any frequency and i could probably still name them all now. we all knew each other very well too, and getting a new person was a huge thing. i guess that's both a good thing-- this place is more popular-- and a bad thing.

chincillas are adorable. i approve of your choice. which youtube channels do you watch?

To be honest, I don't really know which anime it was. Just some people showed some to me.. I don't know. What animes do you recommend? As for YouTube, I watch Dan and Phil, Liza Koshy, some people you've probably never heard of (Caroline Dare, Color Wonder, Gloom Games, and Kyra O), Dodie Clark, Emma Blackery, sometimes iiSuperwomanii, Jessie Paege, and just kind of anyone else that's recommended to me..!

as i said before, i've watched a lot, and a lot of good ones at that, so what i'd reccomend would really depend on what you're interested in. do you have any specific genre (not necessarily of anime, if i knew what books you liked, i could reccomend based on that) you like a lot? ahh, i've watched a bit of many of those. i've been off and on following dan and phil for a long time, but i only recently discovered dodie clark but she's a very cute human being and i like her a lot.

I like fantasy and science fiction, and I don't mind romance, but it's not my favourite.. I don't know. Also yes, Dodie is a very cute human being. It's cool that you talk in lowercase, but I think autocorrect would drive me crazy with all the "i"s and lowercase proper nouns...

Hi! I don't know you, because I joined in April 2016, but I'm Bluebird. I'm 12, about to turn 13 in a month... I love to draw, write, read, play the piano, play softball/volleyball/basketball, and fangirl, if that counts as a hobby. My little sis comes on the CB under the name Lavender, but she barely ever posts. I write dark poetry in my free time and obsess over bands, but at the same time, I love cute things and am wearing fuzzy pug socks right now. Also, I procrastinate everything. Nice to meet you!

hello! it's super nice to meet you~ happy super early birthday!

i also draw. do you prefer traditional pencil and paper or do you sometimes experiment with other mediums? and dark poetry is wonderful. i actually started writing with that very genre, because poetry was so much more forgiving than prose. which bands, if you don't mind me asking? i mostly consort with kpop/jpop but i do have a certain (limited) knowledge of american music.

also, fuzzy pug socks sound amazing.

Thanks! I do a lot of sketching with just pencil and paper, but I like to paint and use colored pencils as well. Some bands I like are Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, and PVRIS, and singers like Halsey, Melanie Martinez, and Sia.

ahh, yeah. i use a lot of pencil and paper as well, but i like to use watercolors for coloring. for outlines, though, i do use colored pencils or ink. ah yes, safely within my limited knowledge. fall out boy and twenty one pilotes are two of the few english bands i actually like a lot and halsey is amazing.

it's lovely to meet you~

i don't know if there were substantially less people then now (i don't know all of you so it might seem like more then it is to me), but i do know that when i was here regularly there were few enough people that we were all very close. i'd say at most thirty regulars, but veer on the side of twenty. i'd have to write out all the names i remember to make sure, but.
