I am getting rid of my AEs, and seriously considering leaving. I have thought about this, and I would like everyone to know this.

I totally understand if you want or have to leave, but honestly I don't want you to leave. Your characters are well-developed and 3 deminsional and you had yet a new angle of creativity to our many-faceted creativity diamond.

I am very angry at a lot of people. I really do not want to leave, but I might have to.

W...why?

Because of the argument?

I'm sorry, if it's me you are mad at. I don't want you to leave, Gared. You are so unique, and add something so totally different and cool to the CB. I'd miss you a lot. Whenever I read AE threads (which actually does happen occasionally, although I rarely add to the conversation, having no AEs) I'm always curious about yours. They seem to be deep characters. You are an incredibly talented writer, with a witty tone, and you seem REALLY smart. So, I'd be really sad if you left. And I'm really, really, REALLY sorry if it's my fault.

Oh, Cocklburr. You never did anything. If I leave, it will be because I have ethical objections, but not because of any one CBer.

I understand, Gared, but I really hope you will think this through and reconsider. :-)

I am changing my mind. My Æs are staying. I would also like to explain my problem. I appoligize for the scare I have given everyone.

So, I wanted one of my Æs, DJ Bowtie, to have a boyfriend. And then everyone got mad at me. But wait, I have a defense. Just because you are different does not mean you are mean less than a normal human, and there is sometimes a strong message against people who are different. I wanted to have an Æ who fealt awful because he was different, but also knew that he should count just as much as anyone else.

Here is my message to people who are against this post: If you feel that my choice to have a (whatever you want to call DJ Bowtie) Æ is wrong, I get that. But if I were to say I hated all Æ crushes, you would think I was a jerk. So just think.

Hey, I'm glad you're staying ^^

This... issue... is making me a little confused too. There are many things I'd like to talk about, that I very strongly stand for and live as, but I feel as if I brought it up I would get a lot of hate.

I think gender equality should apply to AEs. And to the people who create them.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I probably shouldn't even voice an opinion on this, having no AEs, but I felt this ought to be said. I love you all, and think it's good that everyone here feels safe voicing their opinions. I think no differently of anyone after this whole argument. Opinions differ, and that's the whole point. This is simply my opinion.

Thank you for your time! I love you!

Love, Cockleburr

Whoa, I had never known this had happened! If I had, then I definitely would have spoken up, and I am now: love is love is love is love is love. (As my fave person Lin said. :D) Of course equality/rights should definitely apply to AEs. And seriously people, this is the crush of a ficitonal character, so I don't see why people would make such a hullabaloo.

Also, like Somebody said, they're your AEs, your choices.

*big hug* Please don't leave, Gared!

Also, Gared, i reccomend you try Scholastic forums.

They have many, many RPs that are your style (I think) and they allow same gender crushing.

If you do go on Scholastic, be sure to look for "toffeecoffee" and give me a shout out. :)

I don't go on the forums, the RPs there aren't my type, but I'm always on the 'safe' chat.
