Picturings!

It seems like a while since we've had one of these. Just regular (written) picturings. Tell me if you want one- I'll try to get them done ASAP. Also, if you want to do some, feel free to.

Ooh, I love these! I'd like one, if you don't mind. In the meantime, I'll do a few.

Bluebird: A girl stands with her head held high, thick navy blue braids spilling down her coffee-colored shoulders. Her heavily-lidded eyes are the color of the calm ocean, deep and soulful and wise. She wears a lacy white tank top that rides up slightly on her skin, revealing a thin strip of skin between the end of her shirt and the waistband of the sky-blue skirt that falls just below her knees. It is simple, with flecks of silver sewn into the fabric and tiny gold-and-white feathers hanging gracefully onto the hem. Her feet are bare, calloused, toughened by a never-ending journey. The Bluebird closes her eyes, and blue-silver wings erupt out from her shoulderblades, rippling in the sunlight as if a living entity in themselves. She jumps— In one leap, she is in the sky, arms outstretched to her sides, spiraling upwards toward the sun.

Tuxedo Kitten: She grins, running a hand through her red-dyed pixie cut, black cat ears peeking up out of the crown of the messy hairdo. She wears a white, collared shirt, buttoned right up under her chin, a little rumpled at the end where it tucks into a neatly pressed pair of grey slacks. The blazer, very slightly a different shade than her pants, has been fastened incorrectly— The top buttonhole has been skipped, the first button slid into the second; one side of the jacket hangs down lower than the other. It's endearingly sloppy. The girl adjusts her crimson bowtie against her neck, making a silly face to admire her reflection in the mirror before grabbing a chalkboard-hued fedora and placing it backwards on her head. Whistling, she exits the room, polished black loafters squeaking on the shining mahogany floor.

Riddler: Her eyes are a playful indigo, dancing around her surroundings in utmost fascination. The pair of black jeans she wears are ripped at the knees, and it's obvious that it's not their original state. A too-big grey t-shirt adorns her upper half, emblazoned with a deep purple triangle in the center. Her dark brown hair is curly, cut to her shoulders, and quite tangled. She wears a pair of untied navy blue converse, the laces of which flop uselessly as she grabs a tree branch and swings for a bit before letting go and, giggling, soaring through the air, landing squarely on her feet.

Oh. I've been doing these wrong. I guess I wrote more of a story than a picturing, I guess.

Tuxedo Kitten (you may not live in the city. sorry)

The car ride was long, but Tuxedo didn't mind- all the more time to read, right? The towers and highways turned to lone houses and dirt roads, and she could hardly contain her excitement. She had been looking forward to this trip for a long time now.

Every year, her family left the city and went on a camping trip to a beautiful park. The set up a tent, roasted marshmallows, hiked trails- all the usual camping activities. It was Tuxedo's one break from civilization, and she revelled in it.

"I'm going to go explore," she called to her parents, almost getting out of the car before it was parked. The smile would not leave her face. Out here on the prairie, it was easy to pretend you were an elf princess, or a forest queen, espeially with an imagination like her's. Tuxedo felt like she was coming right out of The Lord of The Rings.

She found herself in a field of waist-high grasses, surrounded by blue and yellow wildflowers. Tuxedo remembered a craft she had done a while ago, where she'd cut out paper flowers and woven them together to form a crown. Taking a look around, she thought, how hard can it be?

Turns out, it was a lot harder. But, Tuxedo was not one to give up. Finally, as the sun began to sink beneath the horizon, the girl placed a circlet of wildflowers on her head. Her hair seemed to turn red in the glow of the sunset, and an ever-so-slight breeze caused her skirt to blow back and forth. She smiled, and held her head high.

"I am the queen of this place."

~~~
I think these need a different name. They're more of short stories based on the interests of CBers (for example, Tux likes TLoTR, so...) Thank you for my picturing, Abi! It's absolutely beautiful- I don't even have the words to describe how much I love it.
May I have one, from either Abi or Bluebird? (Or both if you really really want to, but you'll probably get a lot of requests.) Thanks. :)
This is gonna be some writing practice for me as well.
Also, for most of these I'm just doing what first comes to my head.
Bluebird: The blue-haired girl sat on the beaten log, watching as one leaf fluttered onto the ground. She stood out in the greens and browns of the forest, as if someone had plucked out a piece of the sky and placed it there. She shuffled her bare feet, feeling the dirt between her toes. She yearned to go back into the sky. Standing up, she raised her sapphire like wings into the air, feeling the wind ripple her feathers. Opening her azure eyes, she flew into the air.
Tuxedo Kitten: The tiny girl pouted impatiently, every once in a while puffing out a strand of messy black hair out of her face. Her cat like ears perked at the slightest of sounds, only to flatten back down in what seems like disappointment. Her rushed clothing, consisting of a polka dot bowtie and a suit stained with ice cream, looked like they were used often. After a few minutes, the girl's green eyes brightened and she jumped up. She ran out the room, her grin a remarkable resemblance to the cheshire cat. The last thing seen was her gray tail slipping out of the room.
Nebula: Solar systems swirled in the depths of the girl's eyes, which where wide open in curiosity. Her wings, a shifting form of planets and galaxies, blended in with the shining night sky. She lifted her hand, raising it to the stars as if trying to touch them. However, she knew she would never reach them. Clenching her fist, she tilted her head to the ground, watching the cars and people shift under her coal colored feet. She groaned in frustration, letting her hands drop to her side. She drifted back to the ground, feeling her nebula hair reach back to the sky in desperation.
"We'll find a way," She smiled.
The Riddler: The girl danced around the town, her shoes tip tapping on the stone ground. A flute in both hands, her mischevious music capering up and over the busy streets. Her eyes, a hazel green, twinkled with impish intelligence. She jumped onto one of the stands, waving her mud like hair around. She felt the song end, and bowed down to the crowd gathering.
Danie, these are beautiful! I love how I have wings in all of my picturings. Thank you so much!
Riddler and Gared, I'm working on yours at the moment. Mine might take a tad bit longer because they're more story-like or whatever.
