Oh my gosh, I love these so much! Many of you may know that I have a form of Synesthesia where words and sounds have colors. Here's some of your colors!

BookBug- June green with red and orange flecks! I am aware of the fact that June green isn't a real color name, but there is this special type of green, very light and springy, which is the exact color of the word June. It's my favorite shade of green, actually.

hotairballoon- pale sky blue, dancing with a water color-like wash of pale reds, oranges, greens, and yellows. In vertical stripes, kind of fading out of the blue.

Abi- cheerful red! Not that bright, Christmas hue, it's got a tiny bit more of a white tint.

Clouded Leopard- Pale blue and white dappled like shadows under leaves, then green and light red.

Nebula- Deep indigo blue, mingled with tiny pink and green flecks for stars

Brown Bear- chocolatey brown, but softer, somehow. More fluffy, furry texture.

elementgirl- sunshine yellow, going to green, then ending at rosebud pink

Scylla- yah, definatly mint. That just seems to work. Actually, it's a bit more... slippery than how the word mint looks. More shiney. With a touch of blue.

Katydid- The rich, filling, golden brown of sunlight on a seqoia tree

Cho- North Caroline sky blue!

Over the Rainbow- cherry red, shiney, new and pretty

Bluebird- Deep ocean blue, like a tropical ocean

Mirax- Dark blue, immediatly shading into royal purple, with a single bright pink fleck on the end

Oooh, pretty! I love the ocean.

I see as sort of an olive green, really warm with a yellow undertone.

Thank you so much everyone who did me! I don't often get mentioned in these kinds if things, so it means a lot. I also find it funny that so many people chose yellow or green for me, because in the past, I usually have gotten those two colors! I think it's a mental thing, at least with green, probably because the name Leeli has two long e sounds, and so does the color green. In my world, letters have colors, numbers have colors, words have colors, it's kinda weird. I don't think I have (what was that condition called again? I wanna say anesthesia but I know that's wrong.) so anyway, thanks so much!

Lelli, when I think of you, I think of leaves, slowly, gracefully falling down trees! Some time I confuse you with Leafpool?!

Leeli, I feel the same way! No one ever mentions me, but someone did this time, which was really cool!

The "condition" is called synesthesia (although I feel really weird telling you when I don't even have it :) )..

In fact, I gave a ten-minute long memorized speech last year at some speech tournaments all about color, and I had a pretty sizable portion about synesthetes. I thought it was a really interesting and original topic, but apparently my judges didn't always feel the same way... There was this one  judge who thought I had MADE UP the idea of synesthesia and she remarked on my ballot that that didn't seem real to her and asked me my source on that!!! ARGHH!! Honestly, I'm kind of surprised more people don't know about synesthesia. It's so interesting to me!!!

By the way, if you're into synesthesia (like me !), then you should definitely read A Mango-Shaped Space by Wendy Mass.

Yeah, it's called Synesthesia. For me, if I see or hear words I get a color. Numbers have colors, too. Music has colors, but they are easier to find if it's classical music. People's voices also have colors, but the color is hard to see unless the person in singing just notes, with no words, or singing in a different language. Languages have colors, too, (Spanish, for instance, is always different shades of orange and yellow) but if I don't understand the language then the music takes precedence.

This is so weird...I agree with you that Elementgirl is pinkish peachy color, and Cockleburr is a olive green! I have no idea why, but it's just that when I saw those, they instantly seemed to click with the two CBers.

Bluebird~ A swirly mix of every existing shade of blue, with a big splash of yellow in the middle.

BookBug~ Dark green with stripes of light green.

Scylla~ Dark red, black, and purple swirled together.

Dandelion~ Bright, cheerful yellow with some green polka-dots.

The Artist~ I still think of you as Bumblebuddy, so you are yellow with black stripes.

For some apparent reason I associate L's with green, A's with red, and C's with yellow.

Also my colors are going to be rather simple, and not that creative.

Bookbug: Royal blue, with swirls of a lighter blue.

Katydid: Orange.

Sparkle Girl: Hot pink.

Kelidiscope Griffon: Orangy Red, or maybe brown?

Autumn Artist: The colors of Autumn. Sorry, I'm not that creative.

Element Girl: Pink.

Leeli: Forest green.

Brown Bear: Orange... Or brown.

Leafpool: Forest green again.

Abi: Bright Red.

Mirax: Either bright red or blue.

Rose Bud: Red, but at the same time pink? Like, it's not a mixture, and it's not red or pink, and it's not pure red and pure pink either. I don't know how to explain it.

Moonfrost: Whitish icy blue.

Hotairballoon: stripes of red and blue.

Clouded Leopard: I think of the Clouded Leopard's coat, except more white colored. Off White color with those cool spot things.

Scylla: Some sort of green. Light green, I would say.

Ashlee: Bright red again.

Nebula: Dark purple. Actually, I think of you as black and dark purple like a nebula. But if I were to put one color on you, purple.

Claaws: Yellow.

Cockleburr: Yellow.

Ember in the Ashes: The Ember is yellow(I think; I can't quite put my finger on it), and the ashes is red.

Booksy Owly: Royal blue. I think. Booksy is royal blue and Owly is that brownish color you see in autumn.

Gared: Green. Dark green--no, wait, bright green. One of those.

St. Owl: Owl is brown, but St. is rather icy colored.

Pepper Star: red and orange and brown.

Mei: hhmmmm....Pink or orange.

Daisy: Either bright orange or sunshine yellow.

Icy:...Ice colored.

September: September reminds me of autumn, so autumn colors!

BHR: Dark green.

Shoshaana Lily: Shoshaana is light pink, and Lily is light green.

All right, here goes:

Cinderpelt - a pale pink, or a mix of earthy shades of brown and greens

Ashlee -  Deep blue, almost navy,

Bluebird - feathery blue, with dashes of black and darker blue

Mei-xue - Bright bright red

The Riddler - Like shiny black satin with sequins

Shoshannah Lily - Purple, like the inside of a flower

September: a combination of brown and sky blue

BookBug - lime green and black stripes

Admin - the whole backdrop for this performance of colors. A curtain of large, overlapping splotches of pale pastels. Blends very well into the background and sets the mood for the entire CB. Thank you, Admins!
