Yeah... but what does this have to do with talking about Cricket?

From what I've seen, CaC has morphed from its original purpose because, really, what needs said about Cricket gets said in This Month. It's a natural thing to happen to a website - you can't always predict what's going to happen. I would suggest to the Admins (although it really should go to the Webmaster, right?) that CaC's purpose be modified. In the FAQ, it says, "Q. I'm not quite sure which is the right area for me to post my ideas. What should I do?
A. Always do your best. The Chatterbox will grow and evolve along with the comments of the readers." CaC has evolved drastically in the (almost) year it's been up. In my opinion, it's high time that its definition, ""Chirp at Cricket" is the area if you want to say hello to the bugs and
offer suggestions for the kinds of stories you'd like to see in the
magazine." be modified. There are threads talking to the bugs, yes. But that's not enough to merit an entire section, and the suggestions for stories are, like I said, in This Month (mostly). CaC has morphed into random tests, bug conversatiosns, and the miscelanious things that just don't fit anywhere else. I think this is a perfectly satisfactory purpose for a section. Could you pass on my request, Admins? Thanks!

OK, I'm back.

This is what I make for lunch sometimes:

1 flour tortilla

1 handful of shredded cheddar cheese

A PINCH of garlic powder

Take the tortilla and spread the cheese around. Then, sprinkle the garlic powder on top. I stick it in the toaster oven until the edges are golden brown and the cheese is all melted. (If big air bubbles form in the middle, you can turn it off then) When I take it out there are three main ways I eat it: Rolled up, Folded in half (sometimes I cut it into mini pizza slices after it's folded), or just flat. Mmmmmm!!! :P (Instead of being the silly smiley I use it as the smiley liking it's lips!)

That sounds SO good.

Rasberry Chocolate Cream (4 servings)

1 pint rasberries

1 8 oz. container whipped topping, thawed

1/2 cup chocolate flavored syrup.

Layer whipped topping in dessert dishes so it is half full, 1 Tablespoon syrup and 1/8 of rasberries in each of 4 dessert dishes. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Mmmmm!

Homemade Chocolate Milk:

2 tbsp cocoa

2 tbsp sugar

1 cup milk

1/8 tsp vanilla extract

But the cocoa, sugar, vanilla, and and about a spoonful of the milk in a large glass. Take a spoon and quickly mix. The cocoa should combine with the milk, turning a dark brown color and the combination will look like chocolate syrup. If not, try microwaving the mixture for 5 - 10 seconds to help the cocoa dissolve. Add the rest of the milk and mix thoroughly. Enjoy!

P.s. I'm the same person as Grace♥

Go Avocados :D. Here's an AWESOME recipe:

1 handful of sprouts

Cream cheese

Some chopped scallions if wanted

two slices of turkey

two halves of a sesame seed bagel

a few cucumber slices

a few tomato slices (if wanted!!! YUCK! :D)

Assemble the sandwich by using the bagel as bread, spreading lots of cream cheese on it, and layering the rest of the ingredients on top. MMmmmm!!!

Quick Guacamole (makes about 2 cups)

2 large ripe avocados, mashed

1/3 cup thick and chunky salsa (that's what the recipe says, but you could probably use any kind. I don't really know)

1 tablespoon lime juice

tortillia chips, if desired

Mix ingredients in plastic bowl. Serve with chips.

This is super simple and quick

1 large plain bagel

2 or 3 slices lunch meat

1 slice cheese (I like provalone)

Put it together, sandwich syle, and microwave it for about forty seconds (or that's what it is on ours.) Terribly easy and pretty good.
