Hi everyone, I realized that we haven't had one of these in a while, so I made a new one.
@Admins,
Is being an Admin an official job? How do you get to be an Admin as a job? Also, do any of you speak Spanish? I do, and I was born in Spain. Thanks, Admins!
Being an Admin is just one of the things I do in the editorial department of Cricket Media. I was already working in the editorial department when Chatterbox was created.
I don't really speak Spanish. I don't know about the others. They may. I can figure out a few words because I've studied Latin and lived in Italy for a while. (Spanish and Italian are both Romance languages, so they have some similarities.)

I just have one question for the Admin(s), but it's a bit complicated: How did you get into the business of being an editor? It sounds like an interesting job!
I have a liberal arts degree. I've always loved books and reading, including children's literature. (Many of my relatives were librarians.) I grew up within walking distance of a library. I interviewed for a job in publishing and was hired, first working on textbooks, then later I joined the magazine division.

@Admins, is being an admin really stressful? It seems like a stressful job, what with all the post flooding in so quickly.
No, for me it's fun. I look forward to reading each comment. There's never a dull moment. And no real deadline. We let you all know that sometimes you may have to wait for comments to be posted.

Ok, I have a few more questions.
I'll try to answer quickly, because my time is limited. Answers will be first thing that pops into my head, and some of the questions should really take more consideration.
1. What was your most embarrassing moment? When I asked a lady when her baby was due and she replied that she'd already had her baby, she just hadn't lost the extra weight yet. Now I never ask anyone that question!
2. What are the five things that make you the most happy right now? music, nature, swimming, time with friends and family, good health
3. If you could have one superpower, which would you choose and what would you do with it first? Flying superfast yet comfortably. I'd zip over to Italy and visit Florence, then zoom on to the Amalfi Coast, then on to Switzerland.
4. What's your favorite childhood memory? Sparklers on the 4th of July at a lake cottage when I was two. (almost 3, my birthday is in early July) This memory has been reinforced by family photos.
5. Are you an early bird or a night owl? night owl
6. What is your favorite brand of cereal, and why? oatmeal because it's healthy, whatever brand is cheapest at the store
7. Do Admins ever get breaks from Admining? yes
8. What is the longest thread on Chirp? I don't know.
9. Do Admins work from home or do they go to a work place? both
10. Would you rather have one best friend, or 10 friends/accqaintances? I think one.

@Admins, on a Friday night would you rather.....Stay in and watch a movie by yourself, go to a dance party with friends, go to a basketball/baseball game or just spend time with your family?

I have a couple questions. Sorry if this is a lot!
1. Have you ever done a prank to anyone? If so, what did you do? Not that I remember.
2. What celebrity do you idolize the most, and why? Different people for different reasons.
3. Tea or coffee? Both, but not at the same time.
4. Introvert or Extrovert? In between?
5. What is your favorite breakfast? French toast with Door County cherries
6. Do you bite into your ice cream or just lick it? Lick
7. What do you hear right now? The fan of my conputer
8. Do you like cottage cheese? If so, why? Yes, it's smooth, satisfying, and healthy
9. What is your biggest fear, and why? Snakes--they give me the creeps and nightmares
10. What was your favorite movie when you were a kid? I don't know. Lots of favorites.
11. How old do you have to be to be an Admin? No set age, but probably at least 20.

I only have one question:
I've seen a lot of comments and such about some incident that happened with one admin and blue moon ice cream, but I don't know what actually happened. If you're the blue moon ice cream admin, could you explain what happened? I'm curious =)
Oh, it's been told already somewhere on CB. I'd seen Blue Moon ice cream on a summer vacation in Wisconsin. At that time I learned that you could only find it in WI and Michigan. Then one day in my town in Illinois I saw it in the grocery store. So I bought it and tried it. It's fruity tasting. A bit later a neighbor hosted a block party. When it was time for dessert I brought the Blue Moon ice cream from our freezer. By this time it was dark out. I set it on the buffet table, then began to hurry across the yard to tell a friend that I'd just put it out and come quick before it's all gone. But in my haste, I tripped on a beanbag toss game and fell, gashing my leg and, it turned out, breaking my wrist! I blame it all on the ice cream.

I love to travel, especially by car, enjoying all the countryside and little places along the way! Almost each place is a favorite in its own special way.

Not that I remember. I have deleted a few threads recently, seemingly at the creator's request. One today was about CBers hierarchy. There were comments from others, but I figured enough had been said on the topic. I don't remember the opening words.
