Hello fellow CBers! I'm starting a writing/art contest! In this contest, you can chose to either write a story or motivational speech based on the theme, or, create a work of art based on the theme. You can join whenever you like before the current round starts! If you don't join for one round, you can reserve a spot on the next! I'll be judging. The person who wins the first round gets to pick the theme for the next and so on. Th first theme is . . . Magic!

The girl with chesnut hair walked deep in the woods, her hand clutched to her revolver. She followed no trail, but a shimmering thing lead the way. The young woman soon got to a stop, there was a little hut. Her right hand still clutched to her revolver, knocked on the hut's door. There was a purr.
"Nix? Is that you?" The voiced purred.
"Yes, Catherine, " the girl with chesnut hair said calmly. The door creeked open, there was a cat-woman, most of her was cat, but she stood like a human, and talked like a human.
"Nix, come in! Hurry. Like I said in the letter this is urgent!" She pushed Nix in the house. "They worlocks are after me, but only the worlocks, I don't know why, but it is only worlocks," she whispered. Nix waved her hand and some cookies and milk popped up on the coffee table.
"Well then, " she said calmly, "I will put a protective spell on your house, that will only let friend in, never foe." Nix snapped her fingers and it looked like nothing had happend but the protection spell was invisable, so the foe, will never know.

"I was walking through the wood, my white fur standing out against the black bark of the ancint trees. And suddenly an arrow flew past me grazing my leg. My name is Cheya (meaning shadow) it doesn't fit me at all, I'm a shifter my animal is a arctic fox. Time to change into my human form i'm a girl with gostaly blond hair and green eyes . Everyone in my town says I'm nuts, maybe I am" to be continued. sorry for miss spelling .
