HIYA PEEPLES!!! For

HIYA PEEPLES!!! For those of you whom I have not met, nice to meet you! For those who DO know me, HI GUYS GREAT TO SEE YOU! My name is Will, I'm an avid fantasy writer, a Star Wars fan, HEMA Alliance follower, golfer, and pianoer. I've actually been here quite a while, but I've been pretty much gone for the past year because life has been so busy. Buuut it's calming down so I'm gonna try to be on more again. Anyhoo, hello again!

Oh my goodness! You like Studio Ghibli?? What's your favorite movie? Who's your favorite character? What's your favorite song? Which one did you cry over, if any?!!

I like all of them! (Well, some of the animations creep me out a bit, but yeah)

Honestly, I don't usually cry over movies because I'm just that insensitive (lol jk). But anyway, I was pretty sad and confused at the end of The Wind Rises. We own that one in blue ray, but I didn't really like how the movie didn't end in a knowing way, and I DON'T LIKE NOT KNOWING HOW A MOVIE IS SUPPOSED TO END FWNEJIGBEWOHGWENCOIE

Sorry, I'm good now.

Anyway, My Neighbour Totoro is a classic, and it's so cute. I love Totoro!

Like I said, I don't really have a favorite, but I really like Kiki's Delivery Service, because of how cute and simple the plot is, and because of how well Miyazaki animated the film and drew everything out. I think the way he draws a seaside town is beautiful.

My favourite song? Oh gosh, that's hard. I would have to say the Totoro main theme song, but I also like the soundtrack from The Secret World of Arrietty, and the song with the girl who sings it in Japanese in Castle in the Sky. (Wow, "in," was really repetitive just now, I apologise.)

Okay! Now I've answered that, how about you?

I was emotionally ripped appart after Spirited away, but I didn't actually cry until Princess Mononoke. What happened was that the ending credits started rolling, and I just burst into tears. I'm not really sure what I was crying over. The music was really sad, and the movie was awesome. The ending was also kind of sad/happy after the huge climax.

I'd have to say that Princess Mononoke is my favorite, and that is the one I thought I would never watch in a million years! Let's just say I tried it, and loved it, and cried over it.

I actually haven't seen Totoro. I was going to wait to watch it with my little siblings, since they loved Kiki's Delivery Service.

As for characters, Chehiro and Haku were relatable and very well-created. I loved both!!!

I can't really decide on my favorite song. Sometimes it's the Princess Mononoke theme song, other times it's The Merry-Go-Round of Life from Howl's Moving Castle, but I think I enjoy The Name of Life from Spirited Away the best. The scene that it played in was so sad and meaningful, even though it wasn't a huge part of the plot. When I think of the phrase "Ghibli tears," my mind automatically goes to that song.
