Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

The Longest Thread

The Longest Thread Ever Pt. 2

The Longest Thread ever is obviously the Longest Thread Ever. Here is the link:  http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/190823?page=109

But, I wanted to see if we can beat the length of the longest thread ever. It is 110 pages long (I can't find the number of posts).

WARNING: I want to make this thread meaningful. So, don't post random unimportant posts like "this is a post." You can post fantasy story picturings (that was started on the original thread), RPs, avatar creator picturings, stories, etc.

This may take a VERY long time, but we can do it!

Facts about the CB:

The actual Chatterbox was created in 2008.

There was actually a period in the CB where people used their real names.

The longest thread ever is made by balletandbow.

The oldest thread you can find is eight years old.

I have found somewhere around five CBers that are adults now.

The number of posts for the Longest Thread Ever is 1642. Also I have a song from Undertale stuck in my head right now and I can't stop humming it and it's super annoying and HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moonlight--

The real longest thread ever had fighting over the random comments, and, if  you read through the entire thing (which I have) the end result was beautiful. And it also makes me sad every time someone tries to make a new one.

First of all, all those random comments stopped in a few pages. They made a pact to never be random again.

And balletandbow isn't here anymore, so I don't want to break anything that she made.

So I propose a different idea, to not insult the LtE.

What if we made two threads and had a race? Like, if we raced on teams, first WITH MEANINGFUL POSTS ONLY, to, say, 100, wins?

I agree with Icy. I mean, we did put a lot of work into the thread.. I think I game like that cshe ups be fun though!

Guys, do you have to replace the old one? Isn't it just fine as it is?

I don't think that it's replacing. Do you know how, when someone copies your arkwork or writing because they like it, it can be flattering? I feel that this is kinda the same thing. We don't have to do it, tho.

Please don't...

The problem is, it's in the inkwell. I at least find it annoying when I'm trying to keep an RP alive, but it's getting pushed down by a thread that doesn't really belong there.

The second-longest thread as of right now, at 1,607 posts, is... the Art Posting thread by Lap R in Pudding's Place!

You guys, the Longest Thread Ever wasn't even started as a thread to try and become the LTE. It was announcing the previous LTE. And then someone decided that they wanted to make that one the longest, so they did. So what's wrong with someone trying to do the same thing? The LTE was started with the same goals in mind - to become longer than the previous one. There is nothing wrong with someone trying to break the record.
