What would be your reaction if I posted this?
But wait, if you're reading this, then I already have posted it, and you are actually recieving a time capsule of some sort, a ghost of a wondering that I had but is a question no longer, because, if you are reading this, you are having some sort of reaction, even if that is apathy. So the question isn't really proper. I can't be hypothetical, because the answer exists right there in concrete and current (for you, not for the typist) reality. It should be, "what is your reaction to this post?" That isn't right either, though, because the present tense makes it seem like we are talking in a fluid conversation, whereas in reality these words were passed through the Admins and will only be posted a few hours after I click the 'submit' button.
Anyway, proper tenses aside, what is your answer?

We try not to use those terms anymore. On the Ultimate Guide thread there's sort of a timeline of events, so you might want to look at that. It's on the first or second page of CaC.

Hi, Over the Rainbow! That was a beautiful paradox, and well worth the minute (or four) I spent staring at it. I'm not sure if this is correct, but couldn't the whole problem be avoided by saing "What will your reaction be if I post this?" It seems to me that the future tense would allow you to ask the question as you wrote it, and us to answer it as we saw it. Also: Hi!

My first reaction upon seeing name: IT'S OTR! IT'S OTR!!! I MUST BE DREAMING.
My second and more reasonable reaction: What on earth did I just read?
My third and most current reaction: I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE IT IS OTR!!
And so in short, I feel you wrote this in two ways: to prank us into using a good 10-15 seconds of our time, and to reintroduce yourself as you return.

Oh, and the most reasonable response at the moment:
How have you been, OtR? The CB hasn't been the same without you, that is for sure. So you want and update... Well, the CB has been really calm recently. Sounds like we will be restarting the World Domination thread in a few weeks as school and things settle down for people. And a number of new members joining has slowed down, although that usually picks up again mid-June, as we know.
As for me personally, tired, somewhat bored, yet excited because we are going to Nationals for FBLA! We got two places away, but two teams had to drop out, so we got moved up. It's in Anaheim this year, which is going to be really cool. Nerve-wracking because I am not a city person, but awesome.
And I've been reading - a lot. Wuthering Heights and Delirium are my two most recent ones. And writing. Things like that.
So I return to my question: how have things been going for you?

I think it would be what was because it was past tense. However it could be what are your reactions because you are talking to more than one person. That would rather clear up the tenses.
