Why is everybuggy leaving!!!!!!! *gasps* Its like a flu... THE LEAVING FLU!!!!!!!!!! We need a cure befor all the CBers get it!!!!!!!!!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES... RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *runs out of room bumping into everthing screaming " run for your lifes"*
*presses pause butten* Ok that was an over reaction... But seriously you guys, just a few months ago cricket was a place that people could chat about books, fangirl about characters, and most importantly... Be their crazily creative selfs. What happened to the cricket i once knew? Now we are all fighting and eventually leaving! No I'm not leaving... But a lot of peeps are and its really sad... I would like to say farewell to two of our CBer friends: Claaws, who was known for her kindness, creativity, and books. She was an amazingly awsome person and its sad to see her go.
And Rae: who... Well... I didnt really know Rae that much but farwell and the best to you (if anyone would like to say something xtra about Claaws and Rae you are welcome to)
With that done... Please no more fighting... I hate to see people leave cricket, and i know you do too.

It seems the Rae leaving is a hoax. Summer is the time when people leave for vacation or camp, but most of them should be back in a month or two.

I agree Pheasant! Even if Rae leaving was a hoax, Claaws and Gared are leaving and everyone is fighting! I feel like I can't even say anything anymore without worrying that I'm going to offend or hurt someone. I'm worried that the CB is coming apart at the seams! Please guys...no more fighting? Please? <3

I SO agree with this!! That's why I try not to post much on some threads that I think might offend someone if I did. I already did that once, and I felt really bad about it. I just don't want that to happen again.

Well...people do leave all the time. I'm inclined to believe that most of the disagreements we had about gender are mostly settled, and the CB has mostly gone back to...us being crazy. In terms of CBrs leaving en masse, this definitely isn't the worst it's gotten. And...sometimes we just have to let people leave. Even if it's for good. They usually have good reasons (although I am sad that Gared left because he thought we weren't be accepting enough) and it's still their choice.

I think the Chatterbox has phases of peace and phases of arguments. That's not bad, though. And people will leave, they will come and go. Of course, I don't like the fighting, I agree with you on that point. There have only been two people leaving recently, that's not actually a lot, and they made their decisions over time, even if it might seem all of a sudden. We still are doing all that stuff you said we were doing a few months back, and we will still continue to do that. I don't really think of it as a flu, but possibly a slow acting virus that is non-contagious (or low contagious, because some have threatened to leave, but only two have). Farewell to Claaws, and late farewell to Gared.
If people have concerns on the future of the CB, I think they should be able to be expressed. That is what we were doing, and if more concerns pop up, I think those should be discussed as well. This often leads to arguments as we all have different opinions, but it is healthy for our community to do that, and it is even better that threads like this arise, showing that we care about not hurting others, we care about each other, the future of the CB, and the community as a whole. Of course, I as well do not want there to be more fighting, but I think arguments will arise in any healthy community. The important thing is that they can be properly discussed and resolved.
