Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

This is a

This is a feel-good-make-other-people-happy thread.

Basically, the idea is that you write one thing you are proud of yourself for (chatterbox related or not), and give someone else a compliment (probably chatterbox related). The thing is, you have to choose a person who hasn't already been complimented, so that everybuggy has something nice said about them eventually! (e.i., so that 14 different people don't compliment TNÖ:P)

Oh, and you can't just compliment yourself without giving another person a compliment. Or vice-verse. And the person you pick doesn't have to be someone you know well, just someone who you can say something nice about.

So here's mine:

I am proud of myself for being on the Chatterbox since it opened (I remember when there were two threads on Down to Earth!) and, hmmm... I want to compliment Grace for always having great ideas, like SI and book clubs.

I am proud of myself because I memorized five measures of a Rachmaninoff song that I've only been playing for a week (my brain is about to explode...). :) And I want to compliment Emily for being probably nicest people I know, and for being one of the most amazing Christians I know. :D (no offense to my non-Christian friends)

I've got the entire thing more or less memorized, the first three pages hands together, and the last two I'm putting together.

Woaahhh, I keep forgetting that you're wicked good at the piano.... It'll take me forever just to be able to play the first few pages... Well, good job!! :):):)

Well, I'm in hyperdrive on this 'cause the contest is in the fall, and my piano teacher isn't giving any lessons this summer. And it's only five pages, anyway. Also, I finally started Fur Elise! (after over a month of delaying it after my Book Four recital.........)
