Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

NaNoWriMo !!!

NaNoWriMo !!!

Hi guys, AutumnArtist here. Just want to let you all know that there is another place with all of the same CBers on it. It’s called NaNoWriMo. You need to ask one of the CBers for the class code, so we can all talk about cricket more efficiently!

Sadly, the Admins will not let anyone post links, but if you type in on google, “ywp NaNoWriMo” It should be the first result.

Hope to see you there,

AutumnArtist

For the YWP site you don't have to be 13, just for the regualr nanowrimo site. And I don't have the classroom code, but somebody does, I think

Is the forum monitered? 'Cause the only reason my parents even allow me on the CB is because they know that the comments are monitered closely. And I'm guessing that NaNoWriMo is not.....?

NaNoWriMo's Young Writers Program is a well-established website with a lot of built-in protections for kids, but they do not have the same monitoring standards as we do on their forum. I would recommend visiting the website with your parents and reading the Terms & Conditions together so they can decide how they feel about it. Even if you are not able to sign up for the site, you can still take the challenge of writing a novel in November and sharing chapters with the CB!
