I used to be balletandbow.
I bet some of you knew me, and I loved you guys so much!!! The last year of my life has been insane, and sadly, that's kept me away from here.
But no longer.
As y'all probably noticed, I did not post this as balletandbow. Let me explain. Not to be overdramatic, but I am not the same person I was when I came to the CB for the first time. It's been over two years, and a lot has happened. Most recently, by BFF realized that she's been suffering from High-Functioning Depression since 8th grade. Also, my brothers, who have been homeschooled their whole lives along with me, have entered the public school system completely.
While I myself have not had too much of a change, the people around me have, and that has influenced me.
It's not all bad though! My friend is getting help from her parents and others, and my brothers are having a blast in elementary school! I'm taking four classes at our local high school, and got into the varsity show choir as just a tiny, scared freshman!
This school year started out for me with a lot of change, and a lot of stress. But the last month, I finally found my groove. I've found new musicals, new fandoms, new friends, and new opportunities at every turn.
And now, it's almost Thanksgiving break. And I'll be going to my grandparents' house. Which means a LOT of school-free time.
So here I am.

You probably don't know me. I'm Jwyn of aMbER's Hideout, and I joined the CB in October. I noticed you said you have been homeschooled all your life, so I just wanted to let you know I have too!!! I've never gone to public school. OrangeAndTealMermaid is such a pretty name!!! I think balletandbow is pretty too, as I've taken ballet for awhile. Glad to see another CBer come back!!!
