Hiya y'alls! I'm new to the site, and I've been getting Cricket for about 6 months now. I loive it here! (Loive was intentional, not a typo. Used as a more intense version of love). My real name is Eliana, But you should be able to figure out my age yourselves. Yes, I turned it into a math problem. So there. I'm only kinda joking when I say I live in Unicorn Island, Because I live in Toronto which is where Lilly, alias IISuperwomanII spent most of her life, even though she moved to LA two years ago. *somewhat stifled sob* 
I'm also a big- no. Huge-no. Mmmm... one of the biggest-no. I HEREBY DECLARE MYSELF THE BIGGEST. HARRY. POTTER. FAN. EVER!!!!!!!! Just thought maybe you'd like to know. 
I will... probably make too many Harry Potter references while here. You're warned.
Oh, and actually, at the beginning, loive was actually a typo. Buuut... I like to say my mistakes are intentional. Not to make myself look better than I actually am, but... Yeah, no, who am I kidding, I'm totally trying to make myself look better. Uh... ok, I'll end that there. You probably know more about me at this point than a) I know about myself; and b) than you care to know about me. Ok, on that slightly awkward, and slightly exposing-myself-as-a-nerd note, bye. See you later, you know, when I'm interrupting your conversations with random Harry Potter- and Superwoman- quotes and references.

NO MATTER WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SAYS!!!! actually, my best friend might be a slightly bigger fan then me, but WHATEVER!!!. sorry again. (Just for the record, i'm not actually mad at you, i'm just a little crazy about HP.), anyway, i am a ravenclaw and a nerd...Actually, you can't really be a ravenclaw without being a nerd. hmmmm
... anyway, i am a large Doctor Who fan, a KotLC lover, a citizen of Middle Earth, a Half-Blood(Son of Zues!), and...actually, do you really want me to list all my fandoms?
ANYWAY, i figured out your age, and you're exactly the same age as me! cool! anyway, the whole 'pretending my typos are on purpose so i look better' thing is a good idea.
Anyway, i agree with the whole revealing-self-to-be-a-nerd thing happens to me too. every day.

I like Philip Pullman's Dark Materials (by the way, the main character here is Lyra! Or did you do that intentionally beacause you read those books?), Inkheart, the series by N. E. Bode, and more Harry Potter related books, like The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Fantastic beats and Where to Find Them (the textbook, not the screenplay) Quidditch Through the Ages... There are more that I like, but these are my favouroites...

I'm Icy, a CBette who enjoys writing long rants and the finer points of books (such as Harry Potter, which I am also a dedicated fan of). I joined when I was young, so I have somewhat of an embarrassing history that I'm constantly working to erase.
It's fine to want to make yourself look better; self-consciousness is great to have. However, just make sure it doesn't go so far that you're trying to make yourself look better than everyone else--I did that when I first joined (and failed miserably).
I love the math problem; it's such a unique way to show your age. I haven't seen anything like it before.

Hello! I'm Starseeker, the resident name consultant of the CB. It's nice to meet you! I like Harry Potter as well, but I'm not a HUGE fan. I also like Star Trek, Star Wars, Six of Crows, Wings of Fire, The Lunar Chronicles, reading, dreaming, drawing, sketching, and so much more! I hope to see you around! Ooh, Starseeker! I remember you, you're the one who drew the cat face on her wart, right? I personally found that story really funny. Also, I suppose that makes us a club of people who show their age in weird ways... I think you said "154 moons" in that post.
Also: a question for y'all. Is there any way to sign up so I don't have to Put my name, age, and location in every single time I post?
No, sorry. That's the way the site was set up. I guess tecnically you can leave the age and location blank, but I and I think others like to know where a person is from. And you do need to put something in the Name field.

*sigh* yes, I'm the wart girl. I see you've read the magazine. Not my best moment, but yes, it's a true story.
I probably did say 154 moons. I turned a different age, so I changed my age box. The Admins pick out posts waaaay before you get the magazine, so that was from... last June? May? Somewhere around there.
As for not putting stuff in your name and age box, well, it is possible to submit a post without it, but it leads to confusion and annoyance.
