Narnia and Harry Potter about the same, I think, with HP being an extremely close second. Then Eragon, The Lord of the Rings, and I really hate The Golden Compass.

I don't know about Brynne, but some people (like me) just have issues with it. :P

Hmmmm I'd have to say Narnia and Harry Potter a tie for first, then Eragon as 2nd. 3rd would be The Golden Compass, and sadly i havn't read Lord of the Rings.

Well, I've only read the first Narnia and all the Harry Potters from that list. My favorite is Harry Potter, though. Cool pictures!

I've only read all of Narnia, so I'd say that would be my favorite, but I really like The Hobbit, which I'm reading now, so that'd be my second favorite. :):):) I don't like the Golden Compass... :P

Narnia, and the Lord of the Rings a close second, (I don't really know, It's been a long time since I read it) but all the others I either dislike or have never read.

1. Lord of the Rings

2. Harry Potter

3. Eragon

4. Narnia

5. Nothing goes here--I think The Golden Compass etc. is one of the worst books I've read. Frankly, I think it has a massive religious bias and it's very bad writing, too. As I'm a devoted Christian, I hate it.

Exactly. That's why I don't like it. Philip Pullman needs some serious help, If you know what I mean.

Have you noticed the religious bias in Eragon?

LOTR definitely first, then Narnia, then Eragon. Eragon - well, the third book at least - is pretty good, but it doesn't match up to LOTR, and I think Narnia has a slight edge up on it. I haven't read The Golden Compass or Harry Potter.

I am obsessed with Eragon!!!!!!!!! My best friend and I can't get over how good it is! Isn't it so sad how Oromis died at the end of Brisingr? I almost cried! I can't believe how evil Galbatorix is.

Which brings me to this. Why would anyone go to the dark side? I mean, there's no benefit to it. I just don't understand it.
