Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Ask CBers Questions!

Ask CBers Questions!

Created originally by Lilypad, I believe (Thank you, Lily!!) and brought back into existence by yours truly!

So, recently, there has been an influx of CBers joining the Chatterbox. Which is wonderful! I love, er, seeing so many new faces! I, however, don't feel like I have met you all yet or actually had a chance to converse. And, hopefully, with the help of this game, we can all get to know each other a little better. :)

The rules are simple:

~Ask CBers questions! It could be a group question directed at everyone, or it could be a question for one specific person. Use the format "@[person you are adressing]" when asking a question, so we can tell it apart from the rest of your post.

~Please stay within the guidelines that are acceptable to the CB (meaning that if the question seems too personal, the person being questioned has the right to decline), and try to include everyone! I myself will start with a group question, to make sure nobody feels left out.

~Answer a question and leave a question! That way, the game can be continuous and will (hopefully) never end!

~Have fun!!

@Everybody: Do you participate in a sport? If yes, do you enjoy it? If not, but you could choose any sport to play, what would that sport be?

Songs are poetry for the ears, and some poetry doesn't need words.

@Lilypad

My favorite time of the year/season has to be fall, around Thanksgiving. Even though I live in a place where the trees don’t really turn colors, I love how it feels like things are crisp and cool without being too cold. In my down time I like to read, draw/paint/do something artistic, and play the piano.

@Alta, what's your favorite food?

@Pooki, if you could visit any person in all history, who would it be?

@Vyolette, what's one book you think everyone in the world should read?

@Admin, (the gardening one), do you have a favorite flower? What is it?

I think we have two gardening Admins. The favorite flower I grow is the zinnia. They come in a variety of bright colors and bloom from late June or July until a hard frost. And they attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. But I really lots of favorite flowers.

@Cockleburr:

I think it would be that lady who wrote the first novel. I forget her name aaaghhh... She was in my history book though! I'd love to tell her how cool she is- after all, if it weren't for her, the novel either wouldn't exist or would have been invented much, much, later. And both of those would be terrible because then so many of my favorite books wouldn't exist.

@Admins: Would you rather fight 10 zombie-sized chickens or 100 chicken-sized zombies? The question is from Minecraft Story Mode and is just too good not to ask.

I think I'd have to pick the zombie-sized chickens...as long as I had acess to a zombie-sized deep-fryer ;)

YES POOKI OHMYGOSH

Sorry I had to say that. XP

Whoever asked what your favorite time of year is: hmmm, my immediate answer is summer, but then I think of Autmn, but then I remember I live in Illinois and I only get one week of good Autmn. So summer.

@Pooki Boo says idtt.

@Cockleburr- One... book???? That's too hard!!! I can't decide!! Argh... hmmmmm. Alright, I'd have to say The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis because it's such a classic. Most people watch movies based off of books and then don't bother to read the actual book. But in reality, the books are nearly always 99.99% better than the movies. I saw this quote recently, "Never judge a book by its movie." And the Chronicles of Narnia series is just so darned good that after reading the first book, you just HAVE to read the next one, and then the next, and then the next!

I write songs! On guitar, piano, and uke! Do you play instruments and write songs with them?

@Everyone, do you play instruments and if you do what do you play?

@Bluebird- I play piano, and dabble a little bit in ukulele! Right now for piano, I'm currently working on a Scott Joplin rag, a Bach Praeludium, and a few other songs just for fun. XD I can't remember what they're called.

I do not play any instruments outside of digital software, but I will start piano soon. Other than that, I think I make up for it by singing both male and female voices.

As mentioned previously, I play the flute. But i suck at it, so I prefer to write short pieces for the flute.

@everyone What was your funniest dream?

submitted by Pooki P, age -30, not where you live
(July 31, 2018 - 8:15 pm)

I don't remember at all. Although there was this one dream I wrote a few sparse notes on which I later found funny; something about a high-stakes game of hide-and-seek where two players unscrewed part of the shower head and got inside despite being far too large for it, and myself finding inadequate instructions for making muffins on the kitchen table and then trying to use them despite the fact that there were monsters in the house. It was strange.

I was a superhero on a cruise with Masky and Hoodie (They are Marble hornets and murderers, but they were superheros in this one) and Spiderman. This was in the cartoony style of that spidermsn netflix show. I never saw myself, but I was one too. We would run around the ship trying to find a murderer who I think was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D Possibly coulsun, anyways, my mom was not my mom and a jerk, so There were these tube things with maniquins in them (think of the things that Ego used to show peter about his 'special' heritage exept tube shaped) Me, Tim(masky) and brian(hoodie) took the clothes off of the maniquin and put them on, posing as them untill mom-not-mom found out. (we dumped them off of the boat as to hide the evidence)  Then we were running from pure nightmares and terror and fear itself ala angry mom and we got to the middle of the ship and there was a big gap with a pool beneath us. We'd jump in, right? NOPE there were floating platforms that were moving like an escilator across the space not even touching eachother, we ran across and went back to our rooms and I saw evil sield agent and ran after him (assuming :l) and it led to spider-man's room becaiuse you have seperate rooms for your alter egos, and hoodie and masky were there, with spiderman and masky threw a mask at me and said, "Suit up." And we were walking out looking all cool and chasing the murderer and then I woke up.
