Wow, two threads in one day? I know, sounds crazy. Anyway, I recently realized that I don’t really know most of you all that well. I’d like to change that. So, I came up with a bunch of questions. Now, they’re all completely optional, so you can skip a few [or all of them] if you’d rather not answer them or if they’re not applicable to you. Anyway, here’s the question list! Is it weird that I love questionnaires? I should make one. Hmm...
What’s a nickname or pen name you use?
I always use Fidelity! I have several characters, poems, and even a screenplay named Fidelity.
Why did you chose to use your particular CB name?
Fidelity is my favorite word, and my mom's favorite song. If I had a child, I'd name them Fidelity for sure. (I'd adopt because the 7th grade reproductive unit scarred me for life)
What are your pronouns [she/her, he/him, they/them, other]?
Honestly, use whatever you like! She, he, ze, ae, xi, anything! I'm not one for labels, though I am female.
What country do you live in?
It's sort of complicated: I'm living in Hong Kong, my dad usually lives in the UK, and my mom lives in the US. God bless America.

Private at the moment (I can't speak Mandarin unfortunately).
What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Write, draw fanart, and Pinterest in excessive amounts.

Live action, because I haven't watched that many animated shows.

I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. It's so so good.

I love a lot of authors!

Alternative, but the chill kind if that makes any sense.

I am a fellow Seb Stanner (we are quite numerous on the CB). I love a lot of actors from musicals, like Lin Manual Miranda, Jeremy Jordan, Christy Altomare, etc.

I love all animals, but I have to say birds are my favorite, especially kites.

Red and white all the way.

Probably emo, but I fluctuate.
What is your favorite thing to “art” with?
Does musical theatre count? If so, all aspects of musical theatre, including lighting and costume design.

Almond butter and scones. That's how Californian/British I am.

Probably English, and my worst is science of all kind.

I have this jacket that is pratically my prized possession. Ae looks like a leather jacket, but ae's grey suede. Aer name is Noah Capulet. Yes my jacket has a name and pronouns.
What’s your favorite writing trope?
Misunderstood characters, namely villians. Eg. Loki, BUCKY, Rhysand (ACOTAR), Nico DiAngelo, Sirius Black, basically every misunderstood villian except Snape.
What do you like most about yourself physically?
This is sort of random, but my hands.
What do you like most about yourself mentally/emotionally?
I'm basically a hot mess, but I think I'm good at pulling myself to help other people.
Do you like school?
Not at the moment...
What fandom are you most involved in?
Three way tie between Marvel, Star Wars, and Hamilton. I think Star Wars might win, just because I've been in the fandom for the longest.

Music for sure, and my brother of course.

@Abigail Sorry, I just saw your post asking for the Squint's Pizza explanation XD So basically there's a graphic novel (Star Wars: Flashpoint) where there's this main character called Squint. And he gets stretched. On a rack. And we cook pizza on an oven rack. So one night we were trying to decide what to have for dinner, and my mom suggested making pizza and mentioned the oven rack (not entirely sure how it came up). I had just re-read Star Wars: Flashpoint, and there was the part mentioning Squint being on the rack, and for some reason that was the first thing that came to mind when Mom mentioned the oven rack, so I quoted the comic, and basically the name stuck. Yeah. Tell me if I need to re-explain, this got kind of complicated XD

Micearenice is a common username of mine, and a pen name I like to use is Hazel.
Why did you chose to use your particular CB name?
Well, to be honest, I knew it would take me FOREVER to think of the perfect CB name when I was first going to join...and there was this RP I realllyyyyy wanted to get in before it was too late...So I came up with whatever I could think of off the top of my head, which happened to be Micearenice. (I had recently gotten pet mice at the time and was crazy for them ;D)
Even though it's not a very...personable name (or is it?--I can't tell) I'm not going to change my name because this is the name I've gone by for almost three years, and like I said...it would take me forever to think of something new.

What kind of school do you do [homeschool, public, private, other]?
So this is an interesting question. I was public/charter schooled in elementary, and then for five years I was homeschooled. This year, however, my sister and I started attending a private Christian school, and I love it so much!!

I don't watch much TV these days but typically I like live action better. Anime is pretty neat (sometimes). I like anything with good plot and character development though, so I'm not picky if show is interesting.
(For the record, I prefer series over movies.)

Yes, I have certainly read the last Michael Vey book! I was honestly a bit disappointed. In my opinion, it would’ve made more sense for Michael to have not come back, but I understand why he did. I think I just overhyped myself too much. It still wasn’t a bad book though. What did you think of it?
Oooo yes, those tropes are always so satisfying to read/write for some reason.
Honestly, it took me only about ten minutes. I type fast lol. And I had been mulling over the idea for a while, so I had thought of some questions before.

The 'villan' who is actually not the villan but the good guy with a really hard past who just wants the best for the world. And the pure 'good guy' who's really the evil one who just cares about fortune and fame and pride. (ex MALEFICENT) haha also Claaws....
Oh and the main character's insane or traumatized beyond savior and has some weird disorder where most of the story/ characters are in their head. Or she goes insaine and tries to kill everyone.

What’s a nickname or pen name you use? It's usually either Lycaella or some version of Viola?, although those of you who read Namesake may know another.
Why did you chose to use your particular CB name? It was one of a few names I was trying out when I first joined Kyngdom. The question mark was to indicate that it might change, but three years later, it never has.

What country do you live in? The US.
How old are you? Secreteen.
What kind of school do you do? I go to a tiny democratic private school. It's got around 30 students at any given year.
What’s your favorite thing to do in your free time? Draw, read, sing and write.
Do you prefer animated tv shows or live action tv shows? I don't watch that much TV, but I think different mediums suit different stories.
What’s your favorite book/book series? Oh gosh, I don't know. I kind of want to say the Flight series, but there are so many more books that I wouldn't be myself without.

What genre of music do you most often listen to? I'm terrible at identifying genres. There's usually guitars and/or vocals?

What’s your favorite color scheme? Deep, natural greens and blues with some gold and maybe pink, purple or brown. Calm and foresty, with late afternoon/pre-sunset evening light.

What is your favorite thing to “art” with? Gel pens and colored pencils for sure, although I like pencil and watercolor, too.
What’s your favorite food? Fruit, meat and baked goods. My dad's chicken noodle soup. His salmon. Boiled potatoes with a little salt.
What’s your best subject in school? I tend to get As and Bs in everything, so nothing really stands out... I love all my art and English classes, though, and history's all right.
What’s your favorite article of clothing? A pair of little white socks that I embroidered orange flowers on. They're just so bright, they make me happy whenever I see them.
What’s your favorite writing trope? When (one of) the protagonist(s) is learning a new skill and they pull off a minor feat. Nothing important, just a small, free victory. That or when acts of heroism have consequences, like alerting the villain to your location.
What do you like most about yourself physically? My hair when it's behaving, my hands and arms when it's not.
What do you like most about yourself mentally/emotionally? That one's harder... Perhaps just the way I see the world, picking up on stuff that others might not notice.
Do you like school? Yeah. It's a lot of work, but I get to choose my classes, so of course I chose the ones that appealed to me. So it's worth it.
What fandom are you most involved in? Probably that of Stand Still, Stay Silent.
What’s one thing that you would hate to have to live without? Gods, so much... science, plumbing, wonder, respect, recording systems, ethics. But probably pleasure. What would be the point if no one could enjoy anything?

What’s a nickname or pen name you use?
Some of my friends call me GJJ, which is short for Good Job Jane because of an in joke. More recently though I've been called HurriJane because my government teach called me a force of nature. I don't have any pen names.
Why did you chose to use your particular CB name?
Rumer Godden wrote a book called Impunity Jane that I was a huge fan of when I was little (still am actually).
