Famous Woman SI

In honor of Women's History Month, I've decided to to make this SI. I admire Rosa Bonheur! If you don't know her, she was the greatest animal painter of the 19th century. She would get her hands dirty drawing animals and was known for her "masculine" style. She was openly a lesbian and would wear pants, even though she had to renew a government permit every month to do so.

Reveal date is March 20th.

Reminder: While Rosa Bonheur is awesome, and we love Women's History Month, you can only roleplay as fictional characters. Please tell us why you admire her, but you can't speak for her. --Thanks, Admin

Susan B. Anthony, baby!

Wait, admins, I'm confused. Do you mean we can't have an SI as a real person? So much confusion.

Yes, that's what we mean.

Actually you can have an SI as a real person as long as you don't roleplay as that person, bc we've had a lot of SIs as real ppl before

Malala is my hero. She stood up for education rights in Pakistan. The Taliban shot her in the head one day as she was riding the bus home from school. That was eight years ago. She stands up to this day about education rights everywhere.

I'm a HUGE fan of Kim Possible, because she can do backflips, frontflips, and other stunts that I can't do. She can also save the WORLD in less than 2 hours!! That's pretty dangerous.

Hi! Christine Darden was the fourth woman whose story was included in the book Hidden Figures, though she wasn't mentioned in the movie adaptation. She was an engineer at NASA who wrote 50+ papers on the supersonic boom and became the first African American to achieve the level of senior executive at NASA. :)

Ida B. Wells.

She was amazing – she wrote essays against lynching and campaigned endlessly for African-American and womens' rights. Plus, she co-founded the NAACP and fought for women's right to vote.

I admire Hermione Granger xD

Ok, real life. I really, really admire Greta Thunberg, because of everything she does. Also, Charlotte Brontë and Jane Austen.

I also admire Greta Thunberg, I think it's really amazing that she as so much courage to speak her mind, even when adults tell her she's wrong.

oops the name. I'll say it again...

I admire Jane Austen. (And many others.) Jane Austen had absolute disregard for the society that she was immersed in. She wrote satires about this. WHOLE AMAZING NOVELS. And she was a pretty fierce woman. She pretty much defied the people and traditions of her age.

And personally, if you can write something like Emma, you win my admiration.

I wonder if anyone can guess who I am!

If anyone here does not know who Kate Warne is, she was the first female detective! She worked for the Pinkerton Agency!
