OMG, you are so lucky! I'm only supposed to have mine on half a year more, but it will probably end up being twice that long. What colors do you want your retainer to be? I want mine to be lime green and fuschia, my favorite color combination!

Yay, Zoe!!!!! Retainers aren't that bad, trust me. Although for the last couple of nights I go to bed with mine in my mouth and wake up with it in its retainer case. No memory of having taken it out in the night, let alone putting it away. Don't know what's with that.

Same here, Grace!!!!!!  Zoe, I've never had braces, but I've had a retainer so I won't have to have braces.  But I keep on forgetting to put it on at night.  And when I do, it falls out.  And last year the dentist said that I probably was going to have braces in two years.

I'm probably going to have to get braces in like a month ): I don't really want to, but hey, what can I do about it?

Pk well it turns out you have to have different retainers after you get your braces off. You have to have to clear plastic molds of your teeth that you put over your teeth.

Congratulations, Zoe! I currently wear a retainer, but by now I only need a nighttime one. They're really not bad at all, except it's a pain when you have to constantly take them out and put them in to eat. Always, always put your retainer in a retainer case. Ask for extras if you need them. Believe me - I once wrapped my retainer in a napkin, Mom accidentally threw it away in a mall trashcan, and the custodian was collecting the trash. Yeah. Luckily I got it back, but digging through trash cans is not fun. Also, even though it can be a pain, wear it all the time. I wore mine 24/7 and because of that, I only had to wear a dayime retainer for about a month.

Good luck!
